Yeah, the when the light reflects off of the object, it reflects in squares. If your laptop can't handle it, you may want to try to subdivide the faces or somehow smooth it out on a differant computer.
Another thing, the texture is too plain, there isn't any variations. Usually at the top of mountains they would be white, more at the bottom they would be green, you could make some of the mountains grey and whatnot as well. I don't know if blender can handle differant textures on differant faces. I used to use anim8or, and that could only have one texture per object. I use lightwave now and I can apply differant textures to differant faces. So yeah, if you can't texturize faces seperately, it may be hard to vary the texture in your mountains.
Anyway, so far its pretty cool. Did you make those for fun/practice, or were you planning to use them in a project of some sort?
