At the time you start planing, I had my first version of Charmixer ;)

What do you mean? To improve my projekt? Or do you want to make a impoved Version with Visual Basic?

In one case you can't beat Charas.EX: The file size: Because Charas.EX is written in PureBasic, the file is 164Kb big and do not need any runtime.

If you have any good idea, tell me, and  I will try to include it in Charas.EX.

you wrote that in basic. You need to redo it in Visual Basic badly I think. I will try and see what I can do to improve it or to give you suggestions once i download it. I posted that at the library.

Why should I switch to Visual Basic (in fact, this is a Basic too)?

The PureBasic program works and is very small.

Have you every tried PureBasic? No? Ok, do it!

Oh. I thought purebasic meant nothing but basic in it like regular basic that you program in Q Basic. I prefer VBasic. Hmm.


Things you can add to make Charas.Ex better:

make it to have like a gallery of your completed charsets
make it have 8charsets image thingy.

Try PureBasic. There a Sprite-Lib, a packer-lib and more. It small, fast and good. I when you buy it (59€) you have right to download any update. When a Version 4,5 or 6 come out, I must not pay again.

Ok, enought of PureBasic.

Easy copy your Bitmap in one directory and use ACDSee or other Picture-Viewer.

But maybe I include a small picture-viewer.

I thougt about it. I found a dll, which can change the color-depth to 256 Colors. When I found out, how this DLL function, I will make a small programm. (Also the DLL has a PNG support ;)
