Title: Some story ideas

So, I write a lot. But I'm not really big into writing fanfics or short stories - now, I'm more concerned with writing up histories for my fantasy world(s), and any games I might make that take place on those worlds. Currently, I'm working on Shoruth, my most developed (history-wise) planet.

I had written a brief synopsis of its history, but when my computer a sploded a month back, I lost it. I have a backup of it, but it's only about half-done (compared to the original). For the most part, I was pleased with the synopsis I had a while back, except for one thing - a fairly modern historical gap of about 800 years, that was explained simply by "No records of this time exist to the current day". I want to fill that gap with some history. Which is where I turn to you guys.

Basically, all I need is a bunch of random ideas. I don't care how cliche' they are, pretty much anything will do (well, if it revolves around evil deities or mystic artifacts, I probably won't use it). I'll take the ones I like most and combine/split/edit/Warxeify them for use in my own mythologies, so don't post any ideas that you don't want used. Other than that, go crazy.

Entry 2334 : January 24th, 1956: The leader of the modern revolutionary movement known as the Grey Fist,  Lucas Firulnt, was discovered deadin his home after an unknown assassin snuck into his home and shot him 3 times in the head and twich in the abck

Like that? I love doing that for stuff in my games. Hell, for the City of Clymeria in my game I actually wrote detailed bios of the royal family dating back 32 generations, as hell as historical stuff for their rule.

A battle in one of the major cities, that took place because of unfair treatment of the middle class. A big building, like city hall, could have been burned down and rebuilt.

A Black Market society called the "Monarchs" was started by an ex-mob boss, Danny Guills, in 1968. It's purpose was to import illegal drugs and other products into the country. Danny Guills was arrested and sentenced to 30 years in prison in 1977, nearly ten years later. He had just turned 50 at the time. The "Monarchs" members were split up, and no other members were arrest or charged. Not even suspects.

Hmm. 'Ex-mob boss destroys city hall in retribution for Filrunt assassination'... I like it! I've played a bit with revolutionary groups, but... hey, I know! If I modified the names a bit...

In any case, thanks guys. Once I'm done rewriting up to the gap, I'll post it here, just to give you a feel for the type of thing I'm writing. But keep the ideas coming, by all means.

In the 200TH  year a bunch of Tonberrys took over a cave and called it the "Cave".The they came up a new kind of tonberry by breeding with moogles called Shadberrys.

How about an age much like the Crusades on Earth? Like, the church (or w/e you're religion is) sets out to "demonize" and label set cultures that otherwise have nothing to do with the devil. Creating an image about them that scares people away from them. Because, hey, it's the church, and if you don't run they'll burn ya! ;)

So, I've rewritten it up to the Gap. Actually, there's some key differences that I don't remember (mostly dates and stuff), which is thanks to in part to you guys.
Hopefully, it'll give you guys an idea of what I'm trying to do with it. It might contain spoilers, but only if I get around to making games of any of it, so don't worry too much about it. I'll continue writing it, using your guys' ideas, and I'll reattach it once I feel satisfied with the results.

There were two big clans, hated each other, then two fell in love, ran off and lived together, soon others followed them and they set up one of the existing towns so that they could live in peace. Yo.

Tonberries... eh. If I ever start eTriDh (another planet, which is probably gonna have a bunch of video game heroes/villians/creatures in it), I'll throw some Tonberries/Moogles/Chocobos in there.

I've played a bit with evil superior cult sect things, but I like that. Crusades. Yeah, I like that. I'll fit that in the Gap somewhere.

XD That's pretty much the backbone of 2/3 of the history.

a war over a large island was fought and in the end the island is destroyed and ruins
