Title: A poll for something in my project..

OK, as the topic says, I wanna know if the characters in my project should have FIXED elements. I wanna hear what you guys have to say cuz i don't want them to have fixed elements, which i will apply Suikoden's rune system, but that would take me a very long time, and frankly speaking, i'm a lazy ol' bloke.. so yeah.. holla holla

explanation:
Fixed Elements: Main Hero has Fire elemental spells only
Not Fixed: Main hero equips different runes, crystals, orbs and so on to get different elemental spells. But only temporary

well, i'd want to explain a teenie weenie bit more, but it will be 99.9% the same as RuneBlade's explaination, in other words, i wanna spam.. lol..

anyways, in most RM2k(3) games, most characters have fixed elements, what do i mean by that? like.. when you highlight a character in the characters tab, there will be a space there where you can put in assigned to learn new magics on their level up.

and what i mean by not-fixed elements, is like Suikoden. They have Runes, of course there are many kinds of Runes in Suikoden, but i'm refering to the ones that can grant the user with magic. gets? for example, if i equip them with a Fire Rune, then that character will have Fire Based magic and if i equip him/her with a Water Rune, then he/she'll have Water Based Magic and so on.. so yeah.. holla holla

Im thinking of getting not fixed, but since i have Rm2k AND kinda hard-to-do b anims i may just stay with fixed.

well, it's not the animations that bother me.. it's the scripting that does.. i mean.. it gets frustrating after doing the same codes for different characters for 2 times..

it's now tied 3:3.. keep on holla-ing
