Lately in Charas there seems to be two reasons to post.

1. Telling off a n00b because of 1st post = request and other stuff like that
2. Anything else.

It's getting pathetic.  I think we as a community really need to take steps to inform new members about the rules.  How about the rules being forced onto the screen on the registration screen?

How about a big banner that says in caps
"DO NOT REQUEST OF FIRST POST YOU STUPID NOOB!!!!!!!"

Or, if any n00b does first post in the requests board, an Admin should change their title to 'n00b', and make it unchangeable for a month.

How many people actually read the stuff when they register? You know them few paragraphs which you're supposed to read before you register, then you have to click "I agree" before continueing. Yeah, I doubt anyone actually reads through that.

I doubt putting the rules in the area where you resister will do any good. Maybe it will stop one or two people from posting a request on their first post, but thats it.

And yeah, its not that big of a deal anyway.

Make the request forum restricted from anyone with under 75 posts, and ban people more. Temporary bans.

I agree, but there are a lot of people on here that seem to hunt down n00bs just to bitch at them. It annoying to constantly see these people knockin down n00bs. Hey I read the rules.In fact I waited till I had 25 post then I PM'ed Ghostclown and asked if I could post in a request.But I guess somthing otta be done.But also I ask you how much fun would charas be with out nOObs to yell at?

I think anyone who skips over red threads, notices, a board totally devoted to Rules and just plain common sense deserves a flame.

not saying you should. Just saying they deserve it.


So as far as I'm concerned this forum doesn't have a problem.
