Title: Where do I put a help question?
Post by: evmaster on March 19, 2006, 06:03:55 PM
I put a topic in Tutorials looking for help. I dont think many
people go there. Also, how can I tell how many people are on
because I dont see it anywhere. And where can I put my topic for help. I dont see a forum for help here....

To see how many people are on, look at the Currently Active Users Bar near the top of the main forum page. Help questions depend on what you need help with: RPG Maker problems can go in the "RPG Maker Programming" forum, help with the generators can go in the "Charas Project" forum, etc. Look at the forum descriptions for more info.

Note: The PHP forum is for help with PHP, not RPG Maker or anything else. It's description misleads a lot of people who don't know what PHP is.

Also, Forum Gaming wasn't the best place to put this, but since you've been having trouble figuring out what forum to post in, it's understandable.  ;)

Well, if it's how many people are online you want, then you'll want  the whois online page (http://charas-project.net/forum/whoisonline.php)

Also, I'll leave this here for now so A) You'll know where to look when you come back. So I'll move it in a couple of days, perhaps a week.
B) I won't have an aneurysm figuring out where to put it.
