Yeah I'm re-starting the old thread because I love the show and there's so much to disscuss.
We finally found out what happened to Claire in the last episode, and it could seem like there's more Others on the island after all.

Here's the titles of the upcoming episodes of the second season:

Yeah. The second season started out slow, like the first, but as the first it's also finally getting back in business since episode 2-10 - 2-12. Can't wait guys.

I finally feel like i can contribute to a Lost conversation. Just finished the first season (borrowed from aunt) this morning. Will begin season 2 either tonight or tomorrow.

I saw the first episode of season 2 when it aired and by the end my mom and I just agreed to ignore the show until we were caught up with season 1 (we had only seen the first episode then too)

Why do I like Saieeeeeed (sp?) so much?

Charlie is a bit too protective. I like Sawyer because he's so unpredictable and Eko because he's the only real warrior they've got. He also knows everything.

Only real warrior they got? And here I thinking Locke, Sawyer, Sayid and Michael did some part in the protection of the losties. Guess I'm wrong since big bad Mr. T killed a couple. He's a warrior type, yes, but not the only real warrior. I mean, even Kate and Ana-Lucia can be called warriors.

Face the facts, Drace. Did Eko run when the huge black smoke was in front of him? Neither did Locke, but when he was knocked down and got to see it over him he didn't exactly look like a warrior.
I think Locke was a lot cooler in the first season.

True. Locke was way different in season 1. I think he's starting to try to bond more with the other survivors. Remember him of season 1? He was a loner then unlike now.

Locke enjoyed his brief stint as the big man no one wanted to mess with, or knife-guy, until the guns came out. I mean, for a deserted island, they sure do have a lot of guns. It looked like Locke was assembling a nice rifle in the last episode i saw.

It's really not likely that Charlie will die, and I doubt they'd kill off Sayid. Ana-Lucia is the most unlikable of the three, so I'd pick her. Maybe Sayid is still angry at her, so he shoots her. Yes please.

Didn't you see last episode? Locke has a razor so I expect most women to have one too. My opinion, most don't shave to look cool.

Looks like they've got some new things to explore. And I'm worried that Locke might become friends with Henry after what happened in that episode.

I just got around to watching 2-17 last night. I really like being able to see these on my own time. I don't even remember when I finished downloading it. But not having to be on my couch at 7pm (or is it 8) instead of playing Oblivion is great. I can't count the number of times I've missed a show I wanted to watch because I forgot and was doing something else. (Scrubs)

Seen the latest one. As I can tell, either Libby ain't a phycologist or became one. I really liked this chapter of Hurley. Most people complain that Lost is not enough about the island or the monster. They forget it's a DRAMA. Drama is all about character development and this episode was a great example.

As for Henry, he's obviously playing mindgames with Locke. My best guess is that either he's:

A) Trying to pit Locke up against Jack to create some chaos amongst our survivors.
B) Trying to get Locke to their side as Locke is on their "list".

Either way, Henry is sent for something and is doing something to Locke.

That's a possibility. He might be trying to get Locke to lose his faith in everything. Nonetheless, Henry's up to something with his mindgames. Remember Henry always trying to pit Locke up against Jack? "Why do you listen to him?" "Why's he in charge?" etc.

Henry did push the button. I compared the length of the sound when the red signs pops up in episode 14 and 17. Episode 14's sound was just a little bit longer.
And therefore Henry must have pushed the button.

Something else I've been thinking about is.. why did the lockdown occur? On the hatch, it said Quarantine. Henry is a carrier of the disease Rousseau told us about, and maybe that's why the blast doors gone down. Maybe it takes a while for the alarm to go off, he'd been there for 4 days after all.
Anyway, that's my theory.

We pretty much know it was counting down, but it sure sounding like it was giving a verbal warning before it started doing so. It could have been important like "Contamination imminent." or simply "Super Happy Funtime Dharma Initiative in 30 seconds."

Rose met Locke before the crash and saw him in a wheelchair. The writers finally made a Rose & Bernard episode. Now we need a Libby one and it's complete, till they thrown in some others.

And Henry... well he won't survive this season, I'm pretty sure.
I mean, last season we had Ethan, this season we have Henry. Next we'll probably get Jacob or something.

I think Micheal is the 'friend of the enemy'. He probably made some kind of deal with the others that he'd get Walt back by luring the losties into a trap. I'm pretty sure some characters are going to die soon.

I see the button will go off. Jack is left there, but would'nt he too busy for the army? but i say Ana, Sawyer, Kate, etc. will try to fight for walt.

Locke is too busy trying to figure out where the "?" is. possibly desmond is there. Locke, Eko, Charlie(?) will might travel there while jack and ana's army prepares to fight back against the others.  :frag:  :para:  :guns:

I think it was episode 20.

Anyhoe, I really enjoyed this episode. The ending of this episode was a really powerfull one and can set things in motion that will make your head spin.

So we learn a bit more 'bout Ana-Lucia. I like her character. She's like a Mexican Kate but only on the good side of the law... for a while. Michael shooting her made my heart crumble. I don't want her character too die that fast yet.
On the good news, Sawyer, after at least 2 months, finally had sex again. Thumbs up. Now I want to be lost on an island with 48 others.
As for the ending, wow. I'm really looking forward too seeing the next episode.

I just figured out something cool. I haven't heard anyone mention this ever before, but it would shock me if I was the first person to have figured it out.

You know how they have to press the button every 108th minute.
The lost numbers --> 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42.
4 + 8 = 12

Some have weird theories, but I've seen a few to be coming close to being right. Also, I generally enjoy seeing some making it their live's work to find out what's the deal with the damn island.
