Title: Blues n' Country

After hearing "Bad To The Bone" by "George Thorogood" and "Rough And Ready" n' "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" by "Trace Adkins", I got a little interrested in Blues and Country.

Now, I can understand me liking Blues, but I never expected Country of any sort. Anyone can give me some names?

Country sucks*, blues is OK in some situations. Now bluegrass, that kicks ass.

*except Johnny Cash.

Listen to "I Drank a Load" and "1 Bourbon, 1 Scotch, 1 Beer" by George Thoroughgood as well.

But Trade Adkins? I thought you were better than that.

I don't like country, but the Texas Tornadoes are pretty good. And, yeah, Johnny Cash is pretty... dead. But he was cool when he wasn't. Um... My dad likes bluegrass, but I find it a bit plain. Not that it's bad, it's just plain. And blues... Well... I've heard worse. In other words, I don't like those kinds of music during most situations, but there's always a few exceptions. :vampire:

Allen Jackson is a really great country artist

I don't know too many blues artists though.

Well for some weird reason, I tend to like his music.

Aparently I suck too, then.

I was raised with country on the radio whenever we were in the car, and although I don't really search it out to listen to it (I really don't search our any other type of music either, so it balances out), I can enjoy listening to it.

I was raised on either 93.7 FM "The Arrow" (classic rock), "Rock" 101.1 FM (rock), or 94.5 FM "The Buzz" (alternative). Since then, 101's been replaced by yet another Mexican station (way too many here), 94.5 plays the same old crap over and over again, and I have all the classic rock I could ever want on CDs or burned into my skull (not literally... yet), so I've pretty much given up on radio.

Eh...Dixie chicks..? (will possibly get hurt for that comment) The only country singers I know is Sharrel Crow, Faith Hill, and that Tim guy....know his last name begins with an M, but meh.

I just remembered, another really great Blues / Rock guy is Anthony Gomes, I saw him live, and he was fantastic.
