The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass... Oh, God I want it... Although it somehow reminds me of this:

Finally. A Zelda DS game. AC, Metroid, Zelda. All we need now is an F-ZERO title and I could die a happy man.

Until then, I'll keep playing Mario Kart DS. Yeah, and New Super Mario Brothers, Tetris DS, and (hopefully) a new Kirby game would pretty much sell the DS like crazy-pockets. God, I need to feed my humanly inbred addiction to Tetris... NOW! :vampire:

Hope to god that they don't over-use the stylus on this game. Moving and fighting with this could kill the game...

You do know there already is a Kirby on DS, right? I guess the word "new" says that you do, but I wouldn't think a new one would come out any time soon when there already is one.

Yeah, Phantom Hourglass looks pretty cool. I'll be getting it.

I haven't heard much about it, but I'll get it if the reviews are good after it's released.

Yes, I know that there's a Kirby game on DS, I have it and have beaten it with all the characters, hence the "new". And Sonic Rush? F*** that s***! You must be stoned off your *** to be even THINKING about that waste of excretion! Shi-...  :vampire:

You DO realise that at least half of all gamers think of Sonic Rush as an A-OK game, right? Meaning, you might be somewhat alone in your opinion.

Mebe, but I'm allowed to have my opinion, right?

''To each his own...'' Well I'm not really a zelda fan...mainly cause the graphics have been sucky, yes I tend to like 'SOME' games for their graphics.. but maybe one day I'll get that windmaker game XD

Windwaker XD And honestly, its probably my fav of the 3D, if not all, of the Zelda games. Alot of people say "It's cartoony and kiddy" but when I play it I actually get more drawn into it. Like the emotion is conveyed over more clearly instead of the "It's the anger/fear emotion, so lets make it dark!". It doesn't have to be dark in Windwaker for you to feel that there is tension in the room.

Sucky graphics? I disagree. Windwaker was cel-shaded, if that's what you meant. It still has a high polygon count, the textures are just a bit less detailed to retain a cartoon-style of animation. Actually, I kind of like the way the colors help intensify the moods in the game. And for the first time ever, any humor present feels welcome instead of squeezed in, mostly because the cartoony colors and simple yet refined graphics are perfect for a more humorous title. Despite a few problems I had with the game (paying Tingle all that cash...), it's easily one of my favoite titles ever. But not on my top five. No no, that area's reserved for a couple of other Zelda games.

Hehe... Windbreaker... :vampire:

things is, Zelda was never intentioned to be humorous. The aspect of graphics didnt disapoint me; the storyline did.

But regardless nintendo will make all that up with Twilight Princess.

What about the storyline? It was the exact same as EVERY other Zelda game. Ganon comes to town. Link goes on quest. Link goes throught elemental dungeons. Link collect Triforce. Link kills Ganon. End.

I think this game will be good.
im looking at the fun whit the playing i dont cares if its 100 bits or 120 bits same "**** diffrent names" says a friend of my.
A game shall be fun to play the grafic is't the game.
The nintendo 8 bits zelda is fun like hell but the grafic sucks.
but nintendo could make it whitout cell-shading...
But whatever only the game is fun to play its a good game.

Windwaker was an excellent game.

Anyone who disagreed due to the graphics is a graphics whore and should just choke on a mouthful of asterisks and die.

It's only flaws I would say are it's length. There were only like 5 dungeons.

Also, I like the Zorans. But the Rito were cool too.

Agree'd!

lol ZKX :P I don't think he meant overall aspect of the storyline.... Perhaps just certain elements...

===============***SPOILER***===============

 - Like that pirate girl who....understandably, I have forgotten the name of... Turns out to be Zelda...

It would also have been nice if the hyrule below the great sea had any resemblance to past hyrules ; ;

===============***END OF SPOILER***===============

:P I'm glad I bought a DS now... this is just the news I was waiting for... too bad im gonna have to wait until its released in europe -_-

BTW: the LINK(hahaha...pathetic pun ^^; ) is broken

I loved WindWaker, although the game wasn't as good as OOT, which is by far, my favourite game of all time. WindWaker's graphics turned me off at first, but I decided to play it anyways, and ended up really enjoying it. The thing I didn't like about it was that the sailing took too long...

This game looks pretty good, and since my brother has a DS I can prolly get him to buy it. Oh, how I wish I had more money, there's just so many games I wanna buy...

And Twilight Princess is supposed to be out Spring 2006, so it should be soon!

I still can't believe that, out of all the Zelda games mentioned, nobody has said anything about Link's awakening...

The gameboy colour ones are my favorite, then OoT. This looks like it could be really fun. Looks like you can write on the map like Madden!

List of my fave Zelda Games
1 Oot
2 WW
3 MM
4 LttP
5 LA

The others, I've never played enough to really get to rate them. I have the bonus disc for GC, but I've only played Oot and MM on it really.

Same thing with me, except for the Majora's Mask part. I'm so lazy...

I never got to play MM. But from what I hear, if I'd played it, I'd give it a top 2nd.

Post by: Archem on April 02, 2006, 05:09:04 AM
Yeah, it's pretty good. And it has side quests out the ***. I mean, for every important quest, there's, like, three or so side quests. I respect that level of worthless crap to screw around with.

Oh quiet Razor, or else I'll push you off a cliff you little furball you. I will prolly play 'WindWaker' or whatever one day, since it seems to actually have good reviews althought Twilight princess will be first just cause if has 'princess' in it  :p

I like the classic zelda- before link went 3d and all that crap. And I hate the DS- but i am happy for you DS owners, because now you finally have a game worth talking about.

DS rules and I cant wait for LOZ: Phantom hourglass.
And Zelda Revulosion.
Title:
Post by: Archem on April 02, 2006, 07:13:56 AM
Hmm... "Revolution", perhaps? And I wonder now: How many people knew about this before I opened this thread? And lastly: I've noticed that 90% of the people who hate the DS or hate the GameCube (not reffering to anyone here, mind you) have never played a game on one, played notoriously bad games, played games with controls that are (slightly) lesser than other console versions, or just make biased decisions. Most everyone I've ever known to dislike a GameCube or a DS are easily converted once they play a good game or five on either one. And that was my somewhat sleep-deprived rant for tonight.
Goodnight. :vampire:

Why are every one hates something whit nintedo?
Nintendo has kill "anyones" mothers or something like that?
I'm playing for fun.
Nintedo makes games fun instead of hi-tech grafic

Despite the nightmarish grammar, you've put into words the very words that resound through my heart.

Play for the game, people. Don't fall into the well laid traps of the conglomerates, enjoy instead the love-children of the hard working individuals who, for months and even years at a time, pour their very existance into their finely-polished products. Whether it be from Bungie, Nintendo, Neversoft, or id, love the game for what it does for the world: provide entertainment and raise electricity bills.

Post by: rush_fan on April 02, 2006, 07:54:15 AM
Honestly the only reason i hated nintendo was because the jerk next door loved it.  Than I finally gave it a chance- and it still sucked!
I just don't like the games themselves.

Nintendo is revolutionary, however, its just not what i like.

I dont like the DS. Never really got into it. But Zelda's cool, and I guess the new one should be worth the ROM. I really liked the new GBA Zeldas, though. Link to the Past and Minish Cap are awesome.
Title:
Post by: Archem on April 02, 2006, 05:55:26 PM
The only reason I got a DS was because my GBA SP broke. I'm glad I got it, though. I see it as  SNES controller with N64+ graphics and a touch screen for writing on. Or for extra buttons. Or whatever. I only dislike the inability to play GBC and GB games on it, the missing link cable port, no joystick (or pad, as in the PSP), and the annoying edges. Of course, I've gotten over all that. I haven't played any pre-GBA games since the last time I've beaten them, I don't have any worthwhile linkable games anymore, most of the games don't really need a joypadthing, and I usually don't get hand cramps. Meh, they did good.

And for all you WindWaker haters out there, how can you hate a game that says on the back of the box, "An evil wind is rising"?
That's just awesome!
