Post by: Fallen Palidan on April 03, 2006, 09:19:33 PM
When I import my Chara and try and use it in my game it not only shows a box around the chara, it dosen't show all of the chara AND  when I move it looks like a slide show of the entire Charset. I am also using RPG Maker XP if that makes any difference. Here's my Chara

First of all, that's not in the correct format for RMXP. RMXP sets look like this (http://charas-project.net/resources.php?wa=0&lang=en&area=Charasets&offset=0&howmany=10&fsearch=rmxp).

I don't work with RMXP much, but there should be some sort of a Resource Manager where you can import resources. When you're in there, try clicking the background color.

Hmm... I don't use RmXP personally but I've reformatted your image to what would work in rm2k3. The charasets look completely different for XP... but I redid your image for the fun of it lol

You can simply import it into the game if you're using an older maker... I've already set the default transparent colour...

We don't have any RMXP generators here, because making resources for it would be quite difficult (due to the varying sizes of the sets). And plus, it takes a lot of time and effort to get a generator running, so it probably wouldn't be worth it. There's always other sites with RMXP resources, so try Googling for them.

EDIT: Also, a heads-up: Please don't double-post. Use the Edit button if you have something to add.

That means my redo will come to be used :D

Oh, and good choice - I favour 2003 over XP personally. Far more resources, to start with.
