Title: Midi's in RPG Maker 2003

I have a question

When I play midis in the RPG maker designer program itself they sound fine, but when I test play the game, they sound VERY different. I think the instruments are different. Any ideas how to change the instruments to be correct?

if you move the speed bar up or down
 it works some times
