Ok, so it came on adult swim, I saw the first episode, and it's ok. I was just wondering if anyone has seen the japanese version or something, and can tell me if it's actually worth my time watching, or if it just plain out turns to sucky, because right now, it looks like it could go both ways.

I saw it too, but I couldn't quite figure out what was happening. So now, I guess I'm hooked... I much prefer Ghost in the Shell, so I'll continue watching it. Please post if anything worthwhile must be said, I too would like to know if it's quality work.

Yeah, it does remind me of FLCL greatly, except for the fact that this has some actual plot. I guess I'll continue to watch it for awhile and see where it goes. And she kept saying the main character reminded her of her children. So at the end (when he found out about the kids), he just stood there with armfulls of stuff while she and the kids walked off. Summary: Turns out those kids aren't really Eureka's kids. Who didn't see that coming? Me. Anywho, they end up smuggling body parts over a military base. They end up flying over some kind of energy fountain thingee. Uh... They make a little (not a lot of) money for doing that. Somethin' like that! Title: Post by: Ryos4 on May 07, 2006, 10:46:29 AM What makes me wonder this episode is, why did they go and wait for that gyser or w/e they called it.  It didnt seem to do much, didnt seem increase there speed or anything blantly obvious.  Did they use it for cover?  It seem to be colored like the "wakes" they leave when they, what did they call it. Umm lifting i think, maybe it was just a very large "wave" since it was caused by an earthquake, plate tectonic shift. One thing i dont really understand yet is where is the Gecko Crew stands.  They have scuffles with the military alot and it didnt seem to be a big thing to them, so  are they a rebels or some kind of resistance front.  They are also famous and not obviously feared.  And if they dont participate in contests for money, wtf do they do exactly. The storys gotten nowhere, the main char is a depressive little mood swinging retard like so many animes, and the style is just anime generic. I think the best part of this anime is the chick Toko or w/e, shes pretty hot. lol.  Other then that this show is pretty much  blew up on the launch pad.
