I've been on forums for a while and every forum I've been to a topic about people's PC has been made and let me tell you.... some people have some freaky lookin Comps. Well Charas I ask you.. show me or tell me about your PC. Specs, how it looks, brand, whatever..

My PC doesn't look cool at all, I built it myself, and I had a very low budget, so I just spent $30 on the case. Its not like it matters how that looks though.

I have no idea what brands make up the parts in my computer, probably the cheapest ones. Anyway...

AMD Athlon 64 3000+
1 GB RAM
19 inch lcd monitor
Radeon 9550 gfx card
120 gb SATA hard drive
dvd burner
wireless mouse/keyboard.

Its almost a year old now, I think actually its 9 months now.

Mine is about 2 years old I think. Might be 3. Looks? Fresh from the box.

All I know is:

Pentium 4 Proccessor, 2.02 Ghz
Nivdia 5600+ FX something
260 GB Hard Drive
1026 MB RAM
DVD Rewriter

Rest I don't know / don't care.

My computer:

Gateway 830GM
Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.00 GHz
1 GB of RAM
180 GB Harddrive
DVD/CD RW
Microdrive
8-10 USB ports

Custom Built, so no brand name. :P

AMD Athlon 64 3200 2.04 GHz
ATI Radeon x700 256mb
2 gigs of RAM
80 gig harddrive (because I don't waste space. :P)
CD/DVD Reader
Some External HP CD-burner piece of crap a friend gave me
2 Front USB, a bunch in the back
Wireless networking card because I hate cords.
Microsoft Wireless Mouse
Some random compaq keyboard
19" LCD Flatscreen Monitor

My next goal is to get a Wolfclaw keyboard, and then maybe a new mouse, since the current one is as old as this computer, 1 and a half years. After that probably a new CPU or graphics card. Of course, by that time, it'll be Christmas again and I can get all new hardware to play with. :D

Not even two weeks old yet, here's a pic of my computer.
http://img.dell.com/images/global/configurator/chassis/dimen_e510_cfg.JPG
And here's all the specs based on the tag on the side of the box:
DIM E510 (3.4 GHZ) PROCESSOR
15IN MONITOR
48X CD-RW/DVD COMBO DRIVE
512MB DDR2 SDRAM
80GB HARD DRIVE
DELL 2-BUTTON USB OPTICAL MOUSE
DELL A215 SPEAKERS
DELL USB KEYBOARD
INTEGRATED AUDIO
NVIDIA GEFORCE 7300
INTEGRATED INTEL PRO 100M PCI NIC CARD
WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER :D
BUNCH OF OTHER USELESS CRAP TO BE DELETED LATER...

Yeah, I'm not sure whether or not any of that's impressive, but I sure as hell like my compy. Which, by the way, is its name: Compy.

But right now, I'm on my craptop, Lappy. It gets slightly better browser speeds for some reason, and all I knows is it gots it a buncha inergreated garbagé. And a 20GB hard drive. And that it was born of hellfire and brimstone from the hands of Satan. And I can freaking prove that it's evil, but that would go off topic and bore you guys.

Tons and tons and tons of tv shows, movies and music. Actually it's divided in two. One 60 GB and one 200GB. 60 for programs and stuff, 200 rest. Got it down to 20 GB total space left once.

I have 2 computers:

2005 Gateway 614GE
1.5 GB RAM
AMD Anthlom 64 Processor 3400+
ATI Radeon X700 256mb Graphics Card
360 GB Hardrive Space (One 200GB and another drive with 160GB)
CD/DVD Burner and DVD Player

2006 Compaq Presario PC
2 GB RAM
AMD Anthlon 64 Processor 3400+
ATI Radeon X700 256mb Graphics Card
150 GB Hardrive Space
CD/DVD Burner and DVD Player

Umm.. Yeah I kinda twinked them both out. One is for File Sharing and the other is just for general usage. My 2005 CPU had some bugs in it (*not being able to activate a Drawing Pad, Not installing my games properly etc.) So I bought a new one instead. I just used the old one for file sharing now. Why So much Hardrive space? I like watching Fansubs and like to save them on that PC :)

DELL Dimension XPS Generation 3 (Has a blue light on the front of the computer tower.)

Pentium IV Processor (3.4 Gigas)
1 GB of Ram
Win XP
Radeon X800GT Video Card
145 Gigabyte Harddrive
And CD/DVD rom drives.

Then we have 6 OTHER computers that are all much worse than the above, including...

A Craptastic Compaq Persario, Started with WINDOWS ME, but then switched to XP, then died.
A very classic Dell Dimension XPS T600, that has, and started with WIN98
Another pretty standard Dell, Always had XP
A Sleek, Dell laptop that's used to play SPIDER SOLITARE... XP
A classic gateway laptop, Uses 98
And an AAAAAAAGE OOOOOOOOLD NEC P60 M, It uses 98, but it used to start with WIN 3.1.... Wow.

Oh well if it's a competition over who has the most computers, I have six! But only four are currently in use, one hasn't seen the light of day in over a year, and one hasn't even been turned on yet. They all suck to their own extent (exluding my new one), some worse than others, but they still work.

Me too. But then I scrolled right... and noticed that the floor was NOT the wall next to the table.
Turn your head? Are you one of those people who can't see sideways? Or upside down? Or backwards or mirrored? I can do all of those... at the same time.

Compaqs and Dells? Ew! Even with better hardware I'd prefer my own over those horrible companies.

My old Compaq went to hell a year after I got it, and Dell's customer service/shipping/computer once it arrived SUCKED ***.

And aparently I'm the only person without a stockpile of old PCs and stuff. Hum.

 My Compy:

COMPAQ "7550"
Intel Penitum 4 Processor
DVD/CD RW
Floppy Drive
2 USB Ports
Wireless Laser Logitech Mouse

I think it's form like...2002, maybe 2001. Not sure.

Hey! I'd have gotten an Alienware or something, but that costed too much! Besides, My fam seem to trust dell more than most other companies.

But we agree, Compaq DOES suck.

Alienware is overpriced. I'd recommend building, or if not, at least some company besides the main ones - they use their popularity to push flawed merchandise! :P

Yeah.. Dell's customer service suxs. Their shipping is kinda steep as well. To ship my flat screen moniter that was on sale cost like 70 bucks to ship..

I don't NEED customer service, I don't LIKE talking to outsourcing laborers. They took our jearbs! :D No, I'm just a guy: unwilling to ask for help, even if I have no idea as to what I'm doing. And I always check for free shipping, or just wait until it's available. Why pay UPS? I hate "brown"!
 :mrT:
Err... Sorry 'bout that, Midda T.

20 bucks says I'm the only guy on here thats got a Mac.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v291/magnuskana/step2_imac20_beautyshot_060110.jpg

Machine Name:   iMac G5
Machine Model:   PowerMac8,2
CPU Type:   PowerPC G5  (3.1)
Number Of CPUs:   1
CPU Speed:   2 GHz
L2 Cache (per CPU):   512 KB
Memory:   1 GB
Bus Speed:   667 MHz
Boot ROM Version:   5.2.5f1

Because its a mac, its easier just to copy and paste the stats from the "About" tab, thats all they're ever gonna be. I have a PC at my dads, buts its been so damn long since I've used it I have no idea what its specs are.

Grr, I hate macs, not only because most programs are windows based, but because last week we had to go into some wierd ladies room to take a math test, I sat next to a mac computer. I don't know what was up this lady's butt, but she started bitching at me that I was messing with her computer, she yelled and yelled at me for 5 minutes about it. I was just like "are you stupid!?". I never touched the computer, and there was one window up that looked like the equivilent to 'my documents' on a windows computer.

I have like, 8 computers. 3 in my room, (current one, labtop, old crappy one), another 3 are set up in the house, and another two are stored away in the attic. I think 4 work, 3 are completely busted, and one works when it wants to.

So I guess you could say I only have 4 compies, and actually, two or them aren't just 'mine' as they're family computers. :( That leaves me with only two...
