Title: The Search Button

So.. does anyone frequently use the search button? I think its a great tool to look up old messages that you or other members posted like years ago. I even seen Sai'Kars "Hello" thread in the Test and Welcome board when he first joined. :p However I find that the loading time for the Search Menu is ridiculously long.. >.> The little search menu basically lists every member that has joined here from when it first started, giving it such an extreme loading time. Also with the strict bumping rule enforced here on charas, it really restricts the usage of the tool. I only see it now as a record book of old posts/threads members made.

I think I used it once or twice to look up my old game topics, that way I could copy the info from that topic and paste it into my new one without having to rewrite it all :p

Use tabs? Right click on link and select open in new tab?

It takes so long because it has to load up every member who's registered on Charas. And with 20,000+ members...

I rarely use it because it's so slow. But I do find some of the old threats from the RRWP or Pop days amusing.

Generally when I want to PM someone, I'll search their name.

I use it alot, like when I'm in school. I can't visit the main page, so I usually type Sai's name and get to the topics I want. XD

Yeah, I use it when I'm at school too, cause the main page can't open. Well... actually, I check the Last 10 Forum Discussion. Usually, there's at least one thread for each forum I go in, so I don't need it... but sometime, there's a forum that isn't in the Last 10 Discussion, so, this is when I use it.
