What is it, a take home test? Anyways, I know how to do circle stuff... I just... forgot.

I'm doing this math test.. and yeah.. I suck at it. So I ask you for help Charas what the hell is these answer to this problems.
1.
Find the circumference of a circle with a diameter of 45m. Use 3.14 for pi.
2.
Find the area of the composite figure. Use 3.14 for pi. Area of circle is
Pi r ^2
I must have been in class the day we went over these.. if any of you can help me with these 2 I'd be very happy.[/B]

Dude, that's easy stuff you're asking about. What are you in, remedial math? No offence, but you must REALLY suck at math.

Agreed, but not really mean. Just uncalled for.

I'm an expert on all levels. I'm just no good at teaching things to people.

I admittingly suck at math.Im in algebra 1 right now, and the only thing Im finally starting to understand compound inequations with slopes and gra[hs and number lines and all that shtuff. Im proud of myself.

lol I'm a great teacher I believe in giving the student a bunch of information at once and then helping them gain hold of what they didn't understand. The thing about teaching is you must try something differ ways of teaching dependin on what you're teach. Like with math steps is important. History...tons of info and right to the point and so on. I love to teach but it doesn't pay enough for me to do it.

What's up with all of the letters? We only get [Course Name]
- here, with the exception to GT and (pre) AP, which just means "advanced" or "even more advanced". The letters otherwise mentioned don't mean too much to me. I'm in Algebra 2, and I've got a B average (I don't do much work, or else I'd be an A student. In all subjects).[/B]

Well, whadd'ya know, so do I Smo. I recently got $1000 for a Linux class. Guy wants to come back for a Security+ class.
We gotta combine forces. I'm awesome at mathematics and astronomy. Also physics and SOME geoscience. I'm okay in history and suck at english. You must help me in history...>_> Man, Ir emember the cool talks about philosophy, history, etymology, and science you and I used to talk about. Those were the days. Jesus, we gotta get together soon! What happened to that tourny? o_O

Wait until you get to the Calculus. I completed Calculus 1 and 2 last year (Junior year) and I barely got by. Of course, I didn't do the homework and had a hard time, but never asked for help. Got C's in both classes.

I'm in advanced classes in school, which basically means I'm stuck in the higher math classes. Bad thing is math is my worst subject. I took Algebra 1 in 8th grade, 2 in 9th, and I'm taking Geom/Trigonometry this year. God, I hate math.
Originally posted by DraceUmm... This didn't quite answer my question. What does "AB" and the like translate into? Like, advanced, or remedial, or what? And we don't really use the A > F system, we use a percentage system. It's just easier for me to type A instead of 90%-100% range.

EDIT: BTW, that´s a pretty nasty picture to put in a test hehe...I´d laugh most of the time...

My grades are:
Math - 5.5
Physics - 10.0
So, I'm Mr. Contractiorus.

So, I'm Mr. Contractiorus.

We call GT Honors in my school. We have AP as well, but we don't have anything like IB. Wow, so you took both calculus courses before graduating? Cool. In order to do that, I would have had to double up this year with analysis, but I didn't do... quite well enough in Algebra 2 to do that. Meh, I'm happy where I am. One AP calc class suits me just fine. And, in response to your statement before, I will put out the effort. Can I turn to you for help? ;) Jk.

At my school it just goes pre-algebra, algebra 1, geometry, and calculus as standard and then you can take trig and then the AP classes as optional.
Im really into science but I was reading some shtuff on wikipedia and now I have to look into vector and tensor calculus to broaden my scientific knowledge... and it sucks. It's hard stuff.
