Title: Civil War, right next to me.
Post by: Almeidaboo on May 15, 2006, 06:05:13 PM
So, as Offspring once said: "we´re living in a chaos". Dude, I´ve never been through this. The PCC (bad translation: First Capital Command) is a criminal organization in Brazil that has proved to control the ****ing country. Some of the leaders of that group were moved from one prision to a high security one. What did PCC do? They´ve burned over 70 buses all over my state, attacked all the police stations and the subways and, from time to time, they burst shoot police cars, schools, etc with machine guns. They´re putting fire in banks all over São Paulo!

I mean, dude, WTF is THIS? Where is the ****ing police?? The criminals are killing the police as if they were the police themselves! We'll have to call the army to control this ****! What the hell is this man?? I´ll go pick up my g/f at her work (we´re being liberated from work right now) to take her home, but I´ll have to walk the way cause there are no buses, the subway stopped and they even attacked our airport now!! And I may not even make it to her work cause some car may pass by me shooting and DEAD almeidaboo...Even my university was attacked!

This' why I really, really hate human rights. Cause they´re the Bandit's rights, the Hypocrite's rights. They kill me, but I can´t kill them. We arrest them, but let them live, consume food in a starving country and give them the chance to get out and kill again. Im Brazil prisions dno´t fix anyone: they mess them even more! **** this country, I want all the prisions to be bombed with every rapist, burglar and killer inside! Why? This' my reasoning:

Whenever you violate a "right" you give up that right cause you show, with your violation, that you do not agree or care about that right. That freakin works for the human rights too: if you kill you give up your human right of life. So if is legitimate to anyone to kill you! SO kill all the killers, rape all the rapists to death. But don´t let them live to shoot me and my family.

Yeah, thats horrible. Its kinda hard for the army to take care of it because they have to fight on their own soil and they don't know whos a good guy or bad guy, and I'm sure not many people want to be police in a situation like this. But something should really be done.

And about letting them live in prison, its actually cheaper to do that than to execute them  :|

Dude that sounded kinda twisted. You can't just kill killers. If noone respects the basic human rights they end up losing their authority thus creating even more chaos.

Well I know you're sensible, so there's probably no advice I could give you that you wouldn't have already thought of. Just don't take unnecisary risks, and good luck.

I was going to make a topic about this. Mostly to say to you to take care.

Oh, and, I don't think the army would help us, because if the army help us, it would be admiting we are in civil war. The governmet wants to keep pretending it has everything under control.

Anyway, I heard at least they let the people out of the bus before setting it on fire. That is a plus to both sides.

Thanks all of you for your concern....I saw a bus catch fire man, that`s just messed up. I couldnt return to my town cause the trains stopped, an tomorrow there`ll be no classes at University.

Anyway, Seph_Rocks, there`s something we learn at law school: it is that we live with two planes of existance: the "be" plane and the "should be" plane (poor translations). The sould be is the ideal plane, conceived only by ideas, and where everything is like it should be: laws are effective and just, everyone respects each others sphere of rights and so on. The be plane is the one we actually live in: our ideals are distorted by the characterystics of the human being that makes it impossible to everyone to be happy. As said Rousseau, it all started with the appearance of what we call property.

Laws, specially the Penal ones were created with a major purpose: rehabilitate the criminals. The prisions were meant to make criminals understand what they've done and what they`re risking by going against the law: they`re own right to live free.

But if you observe, specially in Brazil, that`s not really what happens. First thing that happens to a bandit when he goes to a prision in Brazil is that he becomes a "bride" (precise translation): he`s raped and violate. And hit, a lot. Most times he actually gets AIDS in this process. Can someone really leave prision, with no perspective of life outside, "rehabilitated". Doesn't that sound like hypocrisy? Plus, a lot of this count with the born-with personality, or could Unabomber become a nice neighbour after jail?

What happens in the "be" plane is that they come out worse, and with the will to kill. Not just that, the prision sistem cost a amount of money that the BIRD won't let Brazil use, even if we could. If all the money used in the prision system was used to erradicate starvation, we'd reduce it in 30%. But no, kids die so that assassins can live. That, somewhat, seems wrong to me.

I could have died today. Over 100 people, mostly policemen, died already with these attacks. But civilians did too. I walked for 2 hours to get home, cause buses were not around. Subway was turned off too. I had to walk all the way to my brother`s home (as I said, I couldn`t go back home), looking to the sides all the time in fear that someone would open their car`s window and shoot me with a machine gun that even the police doesn`t have. I saw an UZI for the first time.

It all started with the moving of the leader of PCC. That unleashed an atack to town by the criminals. If the leader had "disappeared" before anything, they`re be no transfer, and there`d be no violence.

South American police forces, unfortunately, are usually corrupt and unreliable. The PCC, if I remember correctly, are radical leftwingers. They are extremely dangerous, they've killed around 200 people. Apparently, according to a Venezuelan friend of mine, they are allowed to have mobile phones in jail cells, making it easier to organize... crime.  I think Governor Lembo's priorities are a little crapsy.

Tei're be more mad. Seriosuly, they know mor of what happen in jail than we do, if their leader "disappeared" you can bet this would be way worse.

If only they could get arrested and sent to a Texas state prison, we off any serious criminals we can, we're fuckin' CRAZY-PANTS! Until that fateful day arrives, don't die!

I just heard in the news.

Well, the police seems to work the same in all of South America...

All I can say to ye is to to try to be safe, I hope that you guys (I mean Grandy, Almeida and the rest of the Brazilian fellas) are safe, and I'll be prayin' here for your safety.

This sure sucks, reminds me of the times we had here during the dictature (of course I didn't live them, but my parents did, they were awful times).

Be safe guys.

Don't worry, it's happening mostly in São Paulo, I live in Santa Catarina, it's somewhat far away, I should be fine. Almeida is the only one in danger, I think.

Killing a killer is being at their level and thus you become a murderer yourself. You may not see it that way, but murder is murder, no matter how you look at it. You can't control what the government or the law chooses to do with these people, so you can't really go into a frenzy about it. Sure, it's unfair and a bunch of crap, but it's just something you gotta deal with.

There are fewer attacks now, I think in 2-3 days it will be over, it was just to demonstrate their powers.

Well, I alive. And they annouced a cease-fire.

Mr. Mr.: PCC isn´t political buddies: they´re drugs and heavy weapons dealers. So they´re not pro anyone, they´re against everyone.

Yeah, police here is corrupt. They´re the one who allow the prisioners to have cell phones and most of the time they´re even part of PCC. I know what you´re thinking: WTF??

Things are cooling down now, and this time you guys didn´t get rid o' me hahaha :D

What if that person is trying to kill you? There are exceptions to the rules. I personally think if someone is threatening to kill you or family or loved ones and you have the power to kill them first, not only should you do it, but you have every right. Sometimes it's either you or them. Who's it gonna be?

Well, I am glad to hear you're fine Al. And yeah, that's messed up, police a part of PCC? Sounds like you're gonna need a civil war to change something like that.

Don't misunderstand; if I was in a situation where I was being attacked at that moment (or anyone else I cared about), I wouldn't hesitate to fight back. Thing is, my aim isn't to kill unless I have to, like if someone has a gun. But if someone murders someone else and is thrown in prison, the person's life is not in your hands. What action is taken is up to the government and courts or whatever. That's what I meant.

But who announced the cease fire?

The gorvernment or the narcos?

Thanks y'all! But people, you gotta listen to this ****: the PCC annouced the cease-fire, but rumors say that the GOVERNMENT and the PCC made a F.UCKING DEAL!! You know what that means? The government will never ever have active voice in this country again! Instead of showing who's the god damn boss, the chickened out and made a deal.

Other causes of the uprising were that the PCC wanted the prisioners not to wear orange uniforms again (they wanted grey, what the ****ing hell is going on????) and they wantes brand new televisions for the prisioners to WATCH THE GODAMN WORLD CUP! THis sounds like a JOKE COUNTRY! Seriously, I just can´t belive it!

Brazil has been great to live, even with all the **** that happens here. I HAD no reason to complain. But now that I have enough maturity to discuss stuff I see the absurds that go on here.

My ideal, for the future, is to make an Brazilian revolution a la the French revolution (1789). Job one: kill ALL, and I mean ALL (seriously, I know my country) politicians. That would be the first thing to put this mess into control, cause politicians are allied to the PCC TOO! In Brazil, honest politician is utopia.

Just to illustrate the absurd: a politician was being sued by a woman to have her baby recognized as the politician's child. They made a DNA test and the result was positive: the child was from the politician. What was the sentence? The Judge said...

...

...

THAT A DNA TEST IS NO PROOF ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WTFHOMGIHATETHESEPEOPLETOMYBONESDIEDIEDIEI´LL CUTYOURHEADSOFFJUSTWAITFUCKERRRRRRS!!!!

*cries*

And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.

And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?

Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that [are] therein?

That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.

And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which [am but] dust and ashes:

Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for [lack of] five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy [it].

And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do [it] for forty's sake.

And he said [unto him], Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do [it], if I find thirty there.

And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy [it] for twenty's sake.

And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy [it] for ten's sake.

And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.

 ......

I say that, but I doubt there is more than 3. ¬¬

He said that anyone who retires at 60 is a vagabond. He goes every single month to USP to get his retirement paycheck. That ****er son of a bitch. He did the same things Lula did, but he was pervert enough to hide eveything efficiently. He doubled our external debt. Everyone thinks he´s good cause he speaks good. Every one of us is dumb.

I´m not saying Lula is good, in my revolution I´ll kill him with my own hands.

And we elected him too late, when he was a radical, he was good.

When you ask a politician I think is bad, Collor. He isn't in power for years, but he was bad while he lasted.

I don't know much about Lula... but I acknowledge that he's a friend of our Kirchner, and that isn't very dumb... it is BAD! Kichner and Lula are woods from the same tree, they are aparently revolutionary, but they are nothing but power-grabbing-bastards.

At least they are not going to let boys at school watch the matches of the World Cup instead of having class because of that it is a "very important social phenomena..."

Our little Kirchner knows how to hide his garbage around here...

Besides, bloodshed only leads to more bloodshed, it's senseless to start killing, because of that they'll merely try to kill you too when they stand a chance.
If you want a revolution, then start building yourself from below, as Maquiavelo sais: "You have to be the lion to fight the wolves, but you have to be the fox to stablish wise relations".

If you let the thought of just plain killing overcome you, it will be bad.
