So...I´m just gonna say it. Valentine's day is coming up here in Brazil (June 12th) and I have a big master suprise plan to make for my g/f. And part of that is a romantic CD :blush:

Anyway, I got this huge list of brazillian songs to put in, but I need some international stuff too.

Please, I need suggestions!

Some songs of Sin Bandera xP

All romaticnessness songs. "Contigo" is a good romantic song and so is "Y llegaste tu". Yeah they are a spanish Duo. But it does fall in the international thing :P

There's also some japanese romance music (lyricless) out there that is beautiful >.>

Maroon 5 also has some good romantic songs

"For you I will"  by Teddy Geiger is a good romantic song

...Sorry for not having Jazz recommendations, but the old 90's song, 'And I Swear' is a good start. There's also Michael Bolton.

PS: Kijuki, are you from Puerto Rico? I am, too! Sin Bandera has good romance songs...but they sound really whiny, like they cry after they sing.

Mexico :P lmao XD they put passion into the songs which is something that makes it sounds even better. But yeah you can say that xP

Not all of their songs are like that though... but yeah I know what you mean.

ok, a few suggestions:

Metallica- Nothing Else Matters
Led Zeppelin- Stairway to Heaven
The Who or Limp Bizkit- Behind Blue Eyes (only works if they have blue eyes hehe)
Red hot Chilli Peppers- Save the Population
and the theme from Braveheart is quite good, it sounds silly i know, but I've tried it and it works, i believe its called Enya

IOS is a great band for love. Though they have some "breaking up" songs. I'll search through my list to find a good romantic soft song of them. Their lyrics are always amazing.

IDK, but I think the vocal melody is pretty soothing. The drums may be loud, but whateverzesesses.

Because I am too lazy to go back a page and since my net sucks, I'll go by memory. Someone said sanctary? Well if you're talking about the song from kingdom hearts two..then I say no, get passion in stead. It's the same song, cept on is in english and the other is in japanese. The english verison sucks horribly, the beat is the only thing that saves it, whereas passion is just...awsome. When listening to sanc, you're like... okkk..cause the words doesn't go with the beat at all, whereas passion sounds perfect. I actually like passion ~after battle~ (another verison) because half of the song is insturmental.

well if your girl think's that highlander is hot, it reminds them of it (my wife doesn't but i know 2 girls that do like highlander)
