Title: sound effect loudness

i have my sound effects at full blast but i cant hear it on the map, what should i do to fix it?
p.s. it seems all of my sound effects are very low vol for some reason?

Are they set to play from events? Because I am pretty sure that you can't play them on their own. Also, can you hear the BGM?
