Title: Anime poll thing

just wondering but what is your favorite anime/anime's and why ^_^
(i think everyone knows that MIC like naruto lol )

Naruto, mainly because i am sorta like him ^_^
DBZ, even if 5 minutes takes up 20 episodes...
Kenshin, his sword skills rock, OORROO lol
one piece, Elfen lied, Demon lord Dante, Those who hunt elves, full metal alchemist, sorcerer hunters, and elf princess Rane.

there are more i just can't remember them off the top of my head ^_^;

let the name counting Begin!!

Dragon Drive - I like dragons, what can I say?
Final Fantasy Unlimited - I liked the ending, thats about it.

Digimon :( - I don't know why I like it, I just do. I remember the show from when I was little, I saw the first episode when it premeered, and I saw like 3 others. Then a little while ago, I just got the urge to watch it, so one day, I went to some site and downloaded every single episode from seasons 1, 2, and 3, plus the first 7 movies (with dial up). So yeah, don't make fun of me or I'll cry.

and i've never heard of Beck, i'll have to see if i know anyone who has it or has heard of it. and so far naruto, FMA, and digimon are leading he he ^_^

Omnimon didn't have a fighter mode (unless you count when it brought it's cannon out a mode), that was the 2nd season's blue dragon dude that had armor eggs, and when in MEGA form, he was a black dragon that could change to FIGHTER MODE.

Omnimon was never in any of the seasons, only in the second and 4th movies. You're probably thinking of Imperialdramon. I didn't like season 3, maybe because by the time I downloaded and watched those episodes, I was really sick of the whole thing, plus the ending was kinda pointless in my opinion. I liked the begining of season 2's ending, if they would have taken out the whole part about everyone growing up and all, and explained some other things in its place, it would have been gold.

And in retrospect, Season 2s ending and general storyline wasn't too bad. Just that growing up part, that was gaytown.
I also liked how the first movie explained quite well a few events prior to the first season. That actually cleared a lot up.

Omnimon was this big knight type dude who digivolved from WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon, and he was only in the second and forth movies.

I liked Digimon Season 4 though. While most didn't like the digi-transformations I thought it was an interesting twist. Moreso than Seas 3. The only cool part of 3 was when Impmon digivolved and turned his arm into a giant plasma cannon from a water gun XD

Had a very bad experience in digimon and stuff like that due to the incredibly bad quality of the swedish dubs of it they played years ago, I felt like taking suicide every morning I woke up and my lil bro was sitting in front of the TV watching it like an addict.

Few good animes ive seen were Bleach, Hunter X Hunter, Shaman king (jap anime version), FLCL and a truckload of minor series of like 12 eps or so in total.

Currently waiting (for over two weeks now) for a fansub of the latest episode of Blood+, really good stuff, and a series called Black Lagoon.

Have seen even more Bleach, all right.  Speaking of, I have to catch up, I'm 3 episodes behind and a couple mangas behind.

Anyway, a little bit of opinion + constructed criticism.

Inuyasha:
My opinion - I believed this anime was quite boring.  From the 60 episodes I watched, here is what I've concluded.  The anime started off very very slowly, and by the time it picked up, I hadn't realized it, and it was already winding back down, to start slowly again.  The plot seemed rather repetitive.  "Oh no!  The shards are scattered, we must go on an adventure to find them again."  A couple episodes later. "Ok, all the shards are collected and now we must...Oh no!  The shards are scattered again, we must go collect them, again.".  This is just what I felt.

Because I'm interested in anime, I would like to hear others opinions.  I'm interested to know why the people who said they liked Inuyasha, said they did.

(P.S. - When did this topic become mainly about digimon?)

(P.S. 2 - Yeah RuneBlade!  Go Hunter x Hunter!  First person other than me to mention is, as far as I can tell.)

That's good, but in case you were mistaken by some chance, Trigun is not a mecha.  It's a really really cool anime about a guy, a gun, and shoot em up shoot em up pow pow in a comedic fashion in some areas.

Hunter X Hunter - Just finished the 3rd OVA yesterday.  If you're looking for a good solid ending...look elsewhere.  The series finishes with the 3rd OVA, but it leaves off with you expecting more, and wanting more.  There is plenty of room for a sequel, but apparently, it is ending there, and it will stay ended there.

I know Trigun is not a mecha, I know what its basically about, but I dont think it sounds that good. I couldnt find any torrent for getbackers (yes thats the way I do it), but I found some old school rumble ive been looking for a while, so im into that atm. IT OWNS!

By the way, If you ever come across "El Hazard" I recommend not watching it, or being high while watching it, otherwise it sucks pretty damn bad.

I also like Trigun, Gundam Wing, Outlaw Star, and Samurai Champloo. But they take up a tie for 11th place on my list. It's a shame, too. They were awesome.

Oh, and simply because it was a good show, and somebody somewhere on these forums said it classified as anime, I must say that I liked Megas XLR.

Now, admittedly DBZ was good, but in no way legendary. Doom was legendary. It was awesome, and even Bill Gates noticed how popular it was.

DBZ, well, I believe it was Weregnome who once said "Dragon Ball Z is a beginners anime" and it pretty much jumped the shark after the Cell saga finished.

No. DBZ IS legendary. I don't like it THAT much but i know the impact it made across the world. Or wherever it was shown.

It s jsut that they elongated it more than they had to.

I lived in mexico when i saw the first dbz episodes, and i was younger way younger, and believe me, back then, there was no better thing.

The U.S. Actually was one of the last countries to see DBZ subbed in its language, I dont know about australia, but the southern and central american countries got to DBZ and DB and even GT YEARS before t relased in English.

It was a legend in other places before it became a legend again when it was dubbed to english.

For it to stay in my mind that long and so of many, including my brother who's now 23, it must've beeen that good back then.

I haven`t known very animes,I dont have money to buy them  because they are not watched much on tv here on gay city (Mexico)
I would like ot see Naruto,but till i dont see it my Favorites would be:
-Full Metal Alchemist
-Dragon Ball Z
