I can't wait for 2008! Do you think I can get some cryo-thing done? I'd like to be in statis until the new eps are here (maybe awakening for SSBB and Spore...)

Fox company was an idiot to stop the show.

Fox...? Idiots? Big news there. [/SARCASM]
Simpsons has gotten boring and Futurama is still kinda fresh from Matt Groening, (Spelling?) and fox was dumb enough to dump it. However, Futurama was being aired on Adult Swim ever since it was off of Fox. I don't see the news as being that big to me. Sure, new episodes, but there's mainly emphasis on it's 'return' when it technically never left.
-
Dude, the DVDs have been out for years. Which means the last episode was even longer ago.
Which means everything on AS(S) has been seen a hundred times.

You don't think I know that? In fact, I have the DVDs (somewhere). i was just saying that technically, Futurama never left the air.
-
Yes it did.
-
I heard about this a while ago on the Billy West boards. I'm glad, Matt Groening is a funny guy. If Simpsons has declined in funny, it's because Groening isn't that involved with the show anymore.
-
I still think The Simpsons is genious, even if it has declined.
-
:D Yay! I'm excited. Futurama has gotta be one of the funniest animated shows. And yes, even more than Family Guy, which sucks in comparison.
-
Futurama > Simpsons, Family Guy and South Park combined
Good thing, too. The last episode was kind of a disappointing finale, so maybe they can actually wrap it up this time (Brannigan and co. blow up Earth!).
It better not be one of those "and then they wake up" dealies, where Homer gets up and says "Wow, what a dream" or something.
-
YES! I've been waiting for this! Zoidberg and Bender=2 greatest characters ever thought up in a comedy show. I CANT WAIT!
*Dies of over excitement*

And Lost, of course.

They did leave. Leaving in tv-world means the show is cancelled and only reruns are shown yet. Coming back means that the show is approved for a new season. So yes, it did leave and is coming back.
Fix'd

YEAH! GO REVERSE QUOTE BUG!
Anyway, Woo! Show is returning!

I wholeheartedily disagree.
The last episode was very touching, and completely awesome.
