A week ago I started this huge flash project with a buddy of mine, and we got some great progress goin' on right now. The project is actually an action filled flash series with a story similar to the Resident Evil games.
The lenght of every episode will be around 7-10 minutes long. And if we are able to keep up the current progress I'm expecting the first episode out sometime at the end of July.
Now lets move on to the storyline...
C.R.Y corporation,
"Central Research Yield"; was mostly known for inventing a cure against lung cancer in early 2013th. And they are now back with a medicine that is going to change the world forever. "A cure against death", that they called the HP medicine.
The medicine makes all of the inner organs mutate and become stronger, allowing the body to move without a working heart. C.R.Y corporations had promised no side effects, but it turns out they lied...
While testing it on humans in a nearby hospital, something goes terribly wrong...
For a dead person it is absolutely impossible for the brain to be resurrected. Causing all of the resurrected people to be unable to think. It results in them becoming like animals, the only thing that drives them is their hunger; their will to find flesh and blood.
The HP medicine now became the HP virus.
By only a scrath from one these walking corpses the virus spreads into your veins and you become just like them; a zombie.
The series starts six hours after the inccident at the hospital, and now almost the entire city has been infected. The major ordered his military elite team to go in and take control of the situation, but by the time they got there it was already too late.
The survivors aren't many, even in the military elite team. But on the 4th Birkin street nine of these few survivors meet:
-Philip Andersson, a member of the Avecon Elite Inforcement Team (AEIT).
-Alexandra Haze, also a member of the Avecon Elite Inforcement Team (AEIT).
-Jake Tunner, a rich good for nothin' guy.
-Elisabeth Wayne, a psycheward patient.
-Patrick Sway, a stage actor dressed in a general military uniform.
-Oswald Harrison, a stinking hobo.
-Adrian Laurence, a DJ.
-Susan Bradfield, a news reporter.
-Evan Nolan, a camera man.
Taking no chances the Major of Avecon city orders a contingency plan - to shoot down the three only exits of the city - the bridges.
Causing the nine survivors to get locked inside their worst nightmare.
You'll follow these nine characters as they struggle to find a way out of Avecon city in a long flash series that may be about to blow your minds...
All right, like I said it's similar to the resident evil games.
I knew I'd get "RE-Rip off!" up my *** if I never said that. But when you think
about it that's pretty invitable when you have zombies and a city.
But I'm still thinking you might like this.

The real reason I'm posting this is to give you an opportunity to help us out.
What we need is voice acting talent. And right now we've got
almost all of the characters available.
If you feel like you might be able to voice for one of the characters, why not do it? ;)

For Alex I need a female (obviously). A girl who wouldn't go "aaahhhh!" if

But thanks, and yeah that screenshot does look awesome.
It's from the first cutscéne actually. It will probably be a very confusing one in the beginning, but as the story continues you'll see what was going on on that roof top.
I'm writing the script for the pilot episode till tuesday upcoming week, that's when the real stuff begins. Can't wait. :)

I can begin with telling you that we have Warxe voiceacting as Capt. Philip Andersson of the AEIT.
So far he's done a great job, and is perfect for the character.
I'm so looking forward to imputing the voices to the film.
Another update is that the series will most likely be titled as 'SERUM'. Why SERUM? You'll hopefully see when you watch the show.
And the final update is that I finished the script for the pilot episode a couple of days ago, meaning we won't have as much difficulties when the cutscénes is being drawn.
Btw, you can expect a new screenshot to come by the weekend.
We still need a lot of voiceactors. If you're interested, please contact me.

I think it would make a great scene after the group splits up, and one part is getting surrounded by zombies. This takes place with the team that's trying to find the other team, because they hear they need help, but OF COURSE; right before they say where they are; something makes them lose the connection, and they can't call back.
