Why is my post removed?

Because I answert it in this post. So only on big post exist on the first position and nobody must search the answer in 100 posting. Also it is easy to find out, if a question is already answered.

How I could use new reources?

In the menu of Charas.EX you can call the importer. The importer can import bmp and save as .cmr-files (the resourcefile of charas.ex). Befor you save, you should say the importer, which color is the background. Select right background in click in the picture, the background should now blink. You can definied more than one background.
When you want to use the recolor-feature, you must say the importer, which colors are connected. Select right Color1,2,3 or 4. And click then in the picture.
After saveing the resource you must reload the set (click in the set menu on the set-name)

Also Charas.EX support more sets. At the moment there is only the normal set. When you create a new directory (with the subdirectory head, body, suit, item, hair , like the normal-directory), Charas.EX will find it and the sets menu has one more set. At the moment is the maximum-number of sets 10.


How get new and more reources?
There will be a patch or another version?

At the moment I import all the Charas-Online-Resources and it will take time. So please wait.
Also I have developed a updater, so the new resources can easlie added to the exist one. Also errors in old resources will removed with the updater.
Charas.EX is under develop, so also new Versions of Charas will be in the updater.

I've updated Charas.Ex to the lastest version (1.03.03.26) but I do not have all the resources that the web version has (Like the Tall resources). Is this because the web version doesn't use cmr files? If not, is there a place to download the png files so I can import them myself? or is there a place to download the cmr files? I've looked all over the site and not found an easy way to get at the files. Thanks.

Yes. The Web-Version use simple pngs and i use cmr, because i want the recolor-future.

When i created a charset, i want to put it in as a hero, so i go to RM2K i click on the sprite but... there is always such a black line surrounding them; and if i start the game i see a green bg behind the chara...

I'm having a problem with Charas.ex.

When I export a file to clipboard, and then try to import to the charset generator, it says, "Can't import from clipboard"

Why is this?

You could just also write the message.

Anyway, there isn't a problem. It's just a bug that needs to be fixed.

i´ve been having probs too...the background appears on the game....there is a square around the char...i´ve tryied importing but it won´t go...

When importing, don't just click on "ok". Instead, click on the background so that it flashes.

How can I import sets?? In the install folder for charas EX there is a folder for monster sets, but that set option isn't in the internal set list...
