Title: Cliche or Original

I plan on making a game, well rather hope to start sometime.
The basic story of the game would be cliche ( Evil Guy trying to take over the nation/world/etc.) I could try and make one that isn't cliche but either way I will make the story.  
But, instead of playing as the group of heros, or a B-team(seen in games like LOTR:Third Age) You play the bad guy, the guy trying to decieve the heroes.
Would you guys be interested in seeing a game like this(minus a cliche story, or a cliche story with a twist adding to why he is evil and getting into some character development on the bad guy's state of mind, and how he gains all of his minons)

I am also not sure if this goes here or not, so Sorry in advance.

I THINK it's acceptable to put it here, but I'm not quite sure.  I'm bad with these types of things.

And, i have played a few games like this (Destroy All Humans is kind of an example).  It is original though, because 1/1,000,000 games are like this.  I say, go for it.  Be my guest, etc.

Destroy all humans is the one with the alien right? I always wanted to play that but never bought it.

Anyway, thanks for your opinion on the idea, I just need some other people's opinions first. I will still make the game, just wondering how many people will except it.

Who cares if people accept it or not?  It's your game.  Besides, if creators of games came here with their ideas, half of the really successful games probably wouldn't be on the market.  No offense to anybody in praticular.

You should make it,there are not many evil main games right now,but odnt make a lciche bad guy that lfies and dissapers and fucks up really easy the heros and at the start on the game he got his supah katana and all.
How about make him a sort of a kid,he learns swordplay from his father,his father tells him it is for good or sumting but he decided ot make it bad,then and the last part,the last boss is his father/brother.
or  sumting,Just ideas but meh.

u cant make a game that has no cliche, that would be boring so include a little but not too much

I actually have been thinking about it, and this will mostly be a serious game, but have alot of jokes. I plan on putting in a part where he is looking for other people to become bosses(so he doesn't have to fight all the time) And one pair walks up (this is after hearing all the most retarded people and names) and says "We are Warren and Peace" And the bad guy says that is a cool names...and then Warren and Peace start to lysp. I find it funny, there will be alot of jokes hopefully.

I am probably sure that When you read that it wasn't funny but in the game it will be.
