Post by: Shadow004_69 on July 17, 2006, 06:22:56 AM
is there a way to make my font look really good ? i tried almost everything i could think of, but it still don't look right, i red the faqs, the docs, these things, but that didn't really help

do you think we can take our Windows Fonts ( like Arial ) and put it for the RPG maker font ?... If yes, how can this be done ?

anyway, if anyone can help about the font, plz do it !, thx !

The fonts can be fixed also by a patch. Check the FAQ thread in this forum for more details.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. The patch doesn't work, and the tut doesn't exist. This is the real way to do it.

Make sure you test this out first before you do it on your real game folder. It can seriously mess it up.

Steal someone else's RPG_RT file whos font is already fixed. It should have a little picture icon. This will "unlock" the font.

Next, get the original RPG Maker 2k3 fonts named "msmincho" and "msgothic" (or any other rpg compatable font).

Next, go to "My Computer" and click on Control Panel. Make sure you press the button that says "Click to Classic View." Open up the folder that says "Fonts" and delete the two fonts called. RM 2000 and RMG 2000. Instead, put in the two "ms..." fonts.

Next, create a new project. This new project will have the fonts fixed. Take that games RPG_RT file and copy/paste it into each of your other games files. It should be fixed.

or u could make your own font, and make a custom message system, that would be good, because it would look original and it would be easy to do, as long as you know variables and switches, etc...
