He has a point - Maxis isn't going to release Spore early just because the fans want it - they release it when it's ready. All the supposed reasons on there are crap.

Just like to put it in here:

Maxis once said something about not releasing everything until it's all done, because they wouldn't want their competition to take some of their ideas (such as that delicious creature editor).

Of course, this is as reliable as one of those [citation needed] parts on wikipedia, but you know me. I don't make up stuff for no reason, like that time me and Weregnome fought crime in Gotham City. True story.

My brother was ranting about this game while back. He made it sound really interesting enough to play, but I can wait for a demo or the game.

Still sounds fun..

No, he did by making me look at this thread, check out his link, realize that it was a petition and not a demo, and then die a little on the inside. You on the other hand, had a post that was read after the last four steps. Oh, make it five. I forgot about the post I made commenting on his ***-piratery.
