Honestly, do you know anyone who fits in with the whole "emo" stereotype? How many of the so-called "emo" band members actually have slitted their wrists or whatever? Are you "emo" for merely showing emotion? For thinking emotion brings quality to something?
If you so much but diverge from this "100% happy all of the time, never feel sadness" way of living, you are branded "emo" and "goth". You end up with people hiding their true feelings. Is there really anything wrong with liking "Dark" things? Things that are not entirely happy, but poignant and striking?
It's all false when it comes down to it. Teenage culture has nurtured a new generation of emotion-fearing people...
Phew. Rant over. Suffice to say, this made me a little bit angry. I abhor people like the one who wrote this excuse for a read.

They all have the emo fag flip, (where their died hair is long and pulled down over one side of their face.
