Post by: Grunge0Puppy on July 31, 2006, 07:09:30 AM: Today, I was going through the complete resources, and i realised something. There are a lot of crap resources, and garbage in there. Now I know your thinking "Hey, I think that everyday", but I'm not just ranting, I think it's a serious problem. Charas is a pretty note worthy site, and I just feel that the resources could be better sorted.

Anybody??

The idea would be to delete all generated sprites and make wrongly sized/compressed sprites correctly usuable. That would be a **** load of work. The way everyone sees it is even though they're crap, some people use them, so why delete them? Now, listen to Moose's fortold events.

Shyguy Kingdom would fry us Meiscool if we had ANY of there stuff
And since there little way to tell where they came from that would be easy to do.

It wouldn't be quite as much if there was some kind of team or somehthing. I've never really known anyone to use some of them. MOst of them just sit there.

Another good Idea, but not from shyguy, or spriters resource. New custom ones.

Another thing, is if some resources where deleted, and the member thought it to be judgmental, we couldn't have one person do for that reason. We would need a team that even could vote. Even if it wasn't done all at once, maybe a little every week.

But I agree you Sandwich-man.
Deleting all that stuff is also a waste of time. Why change something when it's already great?

I'm refering to things like the same Charas.EX made Cloud and squall, over and over and over and over and over. It drives me insane.

And then stuff like there being a picture of a big sword it the battle char section??????

I just feel like the people could do a little better...

Also, just because its been download doesnt mean anybody's using it. There was this one char it was even complete, dl 869 times.

Let them be and stop bitching about it. Its really simple, don't like the system, don't use it or deal. Plenty of people seem to have no prob with it. "Oh, thats a charset in titles. Oh well, I don't need it anyway. *doo de doo*"
