Title: RTP Isn't Working
Post by: Emerates on August 15, 2006, 12:49:38 AM
Okay....  the problem is as this thread is called, MY RTP REFUSES TO WORK.  I recently changed computers from my crap 2000 Dell to a much better custom-made computer.  However, I have RM2K3 installed on an external hard drive.

So, when I set it up on the new computer, it worked fine and I could use all the RTP graphics I needed (and yes, I needed to sometimes).  Then I installed another CD drive on the new computer, and the external was bumped from Drive E to Drive F.

The first time I opened RPG M, nothing showed up, so I figured, 'Okay, I just need to redirect the project path'.  So I did that.  All the stuff I have in the project folders work fine now.  BUT the big problem is now the RTP doesn't show up at all.  I copied and pasted some of the chipsets into the project folder, and they all show up now, but I REALLY don't want to do that for every graphic there is.

So the help I need from a much more experienced person is how do I make it so that the RTP work again?

Anyone who can help me, it will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

well, not sure if this'll fix it, but it sounds to me that just re-installing the rtp would fix it... give that a try, if I doesn't work then I guess I'm outta ideas.

I tried doing that using the RPG Utilities program, but that won't run because it's missing csc232.dll or something like that...  and I can't just reinstall the RTP because I don't have the installation files for anything on RPGM.

Hmm....  I might be in a bit of a pickle here, guys....

Now, now. I think it's too early to resort to gay prostitution to pay a guy to fix it. That is what you meant; right? No? Oh; sorry.

Well, ya can search for it on the forums. I remember a guy giving the download to the RTP somewhere.
