Horrbile plot? Bite me. I'm not going to bother giving away the conflict (mostly cause I didn't develop it yet....) cause that would spoilers ^_^.

Heroes:

Alex, M
Age: ???
Class: Fighter
Good or Evil: ??? (You decide that ^_^)
Alex is a schoolboy who never really wanted to start this quest. He loved fantasy stories before The Dream.

Basil, M
Age: 24
Class: Lancer
Good or Evil: Neutral
Originally a holy fighter, his fiancee, Teresa, was slain by General Fear of the demon army. Fueled by revenge, it quickly drew him to pursue any means to slay General Fear. He joined King Rael's forces in hopes of finding a clue to Fear.

Mithilia, F
Age: 19
Class: Warrior
Good or Evil: Neutral
She was a born athelete, but the attack on her village futhered her need of becoming a warrior. When demons attacked her village, they cut out her eyes. A kind monk adopted her and gave her back the gift of sight, but her eyes had permanantly changed entirely black. After the attack, she was afraid of demons from the day they cut out her eyes, but covered it with a hobby of Demon-Slaying.

Dorothy
Age: 17
Class: Theif
Good or Evil: Good
Dorothy, unlike some of the others, lived an almost-normal life. However, she was framed for the murder of a famous noble, and quickly fleed her home when she was almost 12. Now that every loyal villager and soldier was looking for her, even now, she quickly became noticed as she attempted many armed robberies of trading convoys and wanderers. Though they were all successes, she never killed any of her victims, sometimes the occasional wound though, so all of them could report to kings and soldiers. Soon, she realised that although she was near filthy rich, she could never use the gold, and quickly gave gold to the needy. Ya, you can say she's your female Robin Hood, but she never had help from theives, she was shunned by them, but they couldn't help but stare in awe of her unique robbery methods.

Why is Hilda affiliated with evil if she thinks there is no good and evil.
I, for one, dislike the RTP battlers.
I suggest you put some effort into it and find some better ones.
Story is...meh.

The characters need a lot more depth.
And That first promise you made:
A deep (Very Deep) storyline?

*cough*
I really doubt it.
Reason being that a lot if new people make this promise, and their games never get done because we refuse to sugercoat our critique like they want.

Also, it may be deep to you, but I find it meh.
Try to put a little more effort into everything, and this could be solid.

A deep storyline is one that either:
A) Pulls in the player
or B) Is very complex and always has the player guessing but is not mindlessly jumbled

I'm working on it.....later....I TOLD U I'M A N00b!
Also, which sounds better:
Awesome storyline
or
n00bish story?

It's the first 1.(if you said 2nd, I'm ignoring you.) It sounds more appealing. I'm not advertising it or anything......... Or it's not really honest either.......but at least you can make your game look good before it comes out and you realise it sucks. Its something ALOT of people do.

"As long as we can take down as much of them as we can, I'm with you."

Im sry to say but this quote is stupid.  Im not really sure what your trying to say here.

Whats that suppose to mean?  As long as i kill alot im happy to die.  Thats fked up. lol.

Meh w/e i havent played any of the rpg maker games as of yet.  I dont think im about to start either.

Anyway, if that is a sample of your dialog pulled from the game.  Then who knows what other types of questionable wording could be in there.  Random typos and such could make a possibly good game, into a horrible game.  It could cause confusion and make the game play feel more like homework, since you would have to decipher possibly important parts in the story and dialog that are meant to lead you somewhere.

And u didnt even bother to explain what u were going for.

I said it was fked up, cause if its what i thought it was, then thats nothing a neutral character would say.

No, I only included them cause I was bored and lost a bet. I stay true to them, so I still have to try and act like poet, though you all know I can't do that. Now, if you don't use RPG Maker and play RPG Games, then why are you in the Games forum? Also, unless you don't plan to increase my posts and yours, THEN CAN YOU STOP BOTHERING ME?

He helps people with charasets and stuff.
Plus, you don'e have to have RPG Maker to look at a story line and say what is wrong with it. It is a person's opinion. You seem to react pretty harshly to critiquing(sp?). So what is the point if someone who makes good games, Such as Meiscool or drenin, gives you some crit and you act like that? Critiquing is menat to help don't get mad over it.

As much as I welcome criticism, I don't exactly welcome the manner in which he makes the delivery.

I see what you mean, but hey you got to take it how they give it.

Your storyline sucks. I mean; how many times has there been the, cliche,"[-higher being(such as king/god)-] calls upon a young, normal, boy; and tells him that he's,"the chosen one," to defeat [-evil thing-]?"
Way overused.

Also; you should use Role-Playing Game Maker Two Thousand or Role-Playing Game Maker Two Thousand Three(RPGmaker2000/RM2k or RPGmaker2003/RM2k3). It looks better to most people, and is much easier to code.

Just my comments and constructive criticism.

You actually aren't really helping when you say "Your story sucks", but  the sotry line is very cliche I agree with you there.
Also, I agree with the usage of RPGMaker 2k(3). First you don't have a trial time so you can take as long as you wish and there are a plethura(sp?) of resources for it. And I geuss it is eaisier to code, but hey for XP you can download pre-made scripts instead of having to make it yourslef which is a plus I suppose.

Yup ^_^....Anyways, forget I ever wrote this. I just read some of the RPG MAker XP trial thing and it said I'm limited to ONLY 10 maps. Sorry!

You can find a version of RMXP that doesn't have a trial, that version, of course, is illegal, so don't ask for a link. Google Postality Knights Edition and you should be fine.

Rpm2k3 is in my opinion the best one out there from what I heard my self and what i read and you can use almost everything on this site in it. But I seem to keep recieving(sp?) errors on mine and I keep losing my stuff. You have to be careful maybe?  :*:  :*:  :*:

Edit: the rules say if over a week; Don't post! Not at a week.
