Anyone know any good one? McAfee fucked up on me and I uninstalled it in a wild rage*.
*Meaning: I grabbed a baseball bat and slammed my computer to pieces.

*sigh*
Dude, told ya already: NOD32. You need not buy it. Download it with the crack in some torrent site, aye???!!!

Google up AVG anti software. They got a free version.

Hijack this and pocket kill box. With those two, you can take out just about anything. Though, if you don't know what you're doing, you could end up deleting the wrong file, thus making things worse.
On the upside, they're both free :)

Dontī, seriously. These are for advanced users, people whoīre really good at computer stuff. One step wrong with these programs, out can **** you computer up.
Get NOD 32 already. AVG sucks.

hijack this is still good to have on your computer though. Most of the time if you have a virus you can't get rid of, you can search google with the virus name, and you'll probably get a link to a way to get rid of it. 90% of the time, I see hijack this used in the solution.
Pocket kill box is good for if you "know" the virus location but can't delete it.
But until you know what stands for what in the programs, don't use them by yourself.

Those 2 are used by a community (brazillian) thatīs called Linha Desensiva (Defense Line), in which you use those 2 programs to make a log and send it to them. The teach you how to get the virus out, and they can take ANYTHING out of your system, itīs impressive to see how pros they are.
But using it by yourself, nah nah.
