Title: Sprite in progress
Post by: Zerlina on August 30, 2006, 10:16:01 PM
I can't get this guy's hair right. There's something that looks wrong with it but I can't figure it out. Help s.v.p.

you need a slightly darker yellow to rim the outer edges of the hair....to enhance the definition.

perhaps a lighter highlight would help too.

It might be the outline of the ear on the right side.

also i completely disagree with plightofthepureblood, because the style of set as a whole isn't like thya, so why give the hair an outline?

the highlight idea i agree with, though.

I think its that single pixel missing from the top if the head. It just throws it all off.

was it absolutly need for u just to quote him.  You didnt even say anything after u quoted him.  I think that might be considered spamming. lol.  Or atleast stupid.

Anyway, your hair looks okay, though since im not really sure what your going for i cant really tell.  If you posted like the face set for the dude, it would be easier to see whats wrong if anything.  Also the only thing that is somewhat odd about his hair is that the right side of his hair is shaded darker then the left.
Title: It looks a little more like a woman.

It could be the 4 pixel eyelash style, or the larger hair on the right, but it looks like a woman to me. I'd put some more hair on the left, less on the right, and raise the hairline to show a little more forhead.

I like the stuff on the bottom though.
