Title: Meh
Post by: Meiscool-2 on August 31, 2006, 04:51:57 AM
I say I don't like the game. That doesn't mean I didn't have fun playing it.

Kingdom Hearts 3 Trailer. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEL2grmKSnM)

You can just tell that those three are Sora, Riku, and Kairi.

I made this because I'm suprised that they're already making another one.... I mean, this is as dumb as not even having FF 12 released and already showing the trailers of FF13 (I'm talking about in Japan).

Discuss.

I'm not going to say that Disney and FF are what made me not like KH, but they played a part. You could have easily made a game with the same system and ideas but with 100% original characters. The only reason Disney and FF were in it is because they KNEW it would make money and it was less of a risk. It was a sell out game.

That trailer was the secret ending to KH:2. Or rather very clsoe to it, I know the secret ending had that same exact stuff.

Hey look, people changing their oppinions to match that of Meiscool's.. Shock and Aw.

I've seen the secret ending, because I have actually beaten the game on hard mode.. To be honest, It sucked. I honestly wanted the series to end right there, them getting back to their island, everything ending BAM the end, but knowing Square, that is impossible, this is their new cow, and they have to keep milking it, until  it is as old, beatup, dried out and skinny as the Final Fantasy Cow.

I am a fan of the series (Not to be mistaken with Fan-boy.) and seeing that hidden ending pissed me off completly. I JUST BOUGHT THE SECOND ONE! Not only did I have to wait four years or so just to play the second one, I had to sit through the torment of knowning the hidden ending to the first one. Now they did the same thing. The series is going to go down hill at this point, prepare for the worst.

*shrugs* You don't have to buy it if you don't want.

If you don't like it, fine. But seriously, there's no need to try and make people not get it. Seriously, I don't see much of a problem with KH. Sure it's not the deepest game and it's very kiddie due to the DIsney factor, but I enjoy it nonetheless. It's fine to hear opinion, but there's no need to get all the haters in here. I'm sure people will think me stupid for liking it, but whatev.

When people stop buying the games, they'll stop making them.

As long as some people do like the games and want to buy them, why should they stop?

Actually, the whole Disney/FF crossover thing tickles my curiosity. It doesn't give me forty odd quid to go out and buy the game, though. But the thought is there.

I only rented the game, so I didn't have enough time to play through it on hard mode. I did beat it on normal and got 100% in everything expect killing Seph.

I don't like the basic idea of a disney and final fantasy mixgame with "keyblades" and ****ing Goofy. I mean sure, Donald Duck ftw. But Goofy?! Please.

Nomura confirmed that those three are new characters altogether.

He also stated he only has a vague idea for 3 in mind, and probably won't start on it for a long time as the KH team is now working on FFVersusXIII.

<_<...

I like kingdom hearts, especially the disney crossover, it reminds me of the movies I watched as a kid, dunno I guess the disney side touches my kid side. It's a pretty good game, with pretty good battle system (better than the final fantasy battle systems), overall, I would buy all of the kingdom hearts games they make.

I liked the original KH a lot, it was fun. But I probably won't play the second.

He has got my thoughts. The Disney is the only reason I first played this game. The Final Fantasy was just icing on the cake.

I loved the first one. The second one was disappointing. It wasn't a bad game, but it felt llike they did to many things wrong with it. I'm gonna say the first was better. To count Chain of Memories, I'd say that GBA game had the best storyline.

I'm not gonna read everyne's posts, and i'm not gonna start arguing on this highly arguable game. But that is NOT the trailer for KH3. There are NO plans to make a third game in the seris as of now. All trailers begin with Kairi's poem, for another thing. And the fact that Meis decided to bring this up months after most people beat the game, well,  this just goes to show how long this game is SOMETIMES.

THE NEXT GAME:

for PSP: Possibnle a remake of Chain of Memories.

for PS2: A completely seperate game, possibly set in the past, nothing to do with anoly of the former main characters.

Sorry if this just blew ever fan's mind, but..

I will say this. Xenhart or whatever his name was on KH1 talks waaay too much about darkness and says "submit" waaaaay too often XD.

I bet if you gave him a computer, whenever he went to submit somthing he'd yell "SUBMIT!"

Hahahaha, ah.
Kingdom Hearts 2 hasn't been released here yet, and God only knows why. What could possibly take so long to translate from NSTC to PAL?
But I don't mind, cause the original never drew any interest to me.

Weregnome and our friend AIDS, however. They've been wanting that game since they first heard it was going to exist. It's getting released at the end of, well, this month.

A word of advice to those who haven't planned it, but are going to get KH2 in the near future: Have your 'mute' button at the ready when you go to the Atlantica level. Otherwise, you'll probably start bleeding out your ears.

Is that in the first 5 hours?
I heard the first 5 hours sucks bad.

Antlantica is a good 12 hours in (unless you play it so much, it becomes your religion.) It's also skippable unless you want Cure.

That depends...If you like Roxas, then you'll like the first 3 hours. If not, screw you.

I know of people that saved a universal file they always start with after the intro, or so they tell me.
