He said XP, though. I hear Espada Graphics down in mini teams make battlers for XP.  Or you can just rip a Cloud pic, there are about
6.7 * 10^20 on the net.

Actually thats is not completely true.  Atleast i think its not.
Anyway my reason for thinking this are...
1. He was using it as a noun and that could be like using words that are also company names or product names that originate from japan and are romanized without being translated.
2. It was following a comma.
3. Pidgin (or however u spell it) English is recognized as an actual language.  Which combines english words, with words from other languages.  This language is commonly used in Hawaii and other places of mass settlements of various cultures.
4. Considering slang trends and what not of the english language.  Its fairly safe to say that this word is commonly know to people around our age/generation, atleast to those who are or have watched/played anime or japanese games.

That may be true, but the way the japanese language is formed, usage of a word is determined by the position of the word in sentence. If the word is used as its english relative would be used, the word becomes jibberish. It has to do with how the positioning of a word can cause it to have different meanings. I actually got this lecture from someone who spoke japanese.

That doesnt really apply to baka.  Since all it really means and could mean is stupid.  The only thing that changes based on surrounding words.  And since no words surround it the meaning is clear.   Baka isnt really one of those super complex words that can mean many things.

Try thinking of it like this.  Watashi will always mean I no matter what the placement of it is.  And anata will always me you.  By adding just one word to a english sentence doesnt really matter.  Since u said it yourself.

"....japanese language is formed, usage of a word is determined by the position of the word in sentence."

It was in the english form, thus it doesnt matter.  And english itself it just derived from other languages anyway.  And anyway language itself is just a tool that communicating information to someone else.  And since the meaning was understood.  It shouldnt matter if it was or was not gramactically correct.

Yes, the meaning is determined by the JAPANESE surrounding words. Its the same with multiple languages. In german nicht means not/dont. Saying "I dont have" in english is acceptable, but saying "Ich nicht habe", which is a literal translation with the words in the same spots is wrong, you'd have to say "Ich habe nicht". Even if we understood wat he meant when he used the word 'baka', it was still incorrect. I personally believe anyone using random japanese words that cant piece together a sentence is stupid anyways.

EDIT: Ka-whoops. Ace posted whilst I was typing.

So that's definitely rule breaking, or at least antagonizing newbies after it's fun.  I think I'll do it; if he clarifies what he wants.
