Oh yes, the song does suck. I've only heard it about 2.5 times.
So it's not played out for me and I don't listen to much Radio musik most musik on the radio is garbage anyways.

I'm one to look at what's the over all purpose of the song and how the lyrics reflect that purpose and who's suppose to be the song's audience also how raw the song is (Veeery important)
Ridin Dirty is what I like to call.
"commercial Rapp" In other words....
garbage musik made for little white kids and ghetto black children which no knowledge yet of what's good musik.
(Now that's raw)
Musik not made to make you think, or see something in a  different way is just bad musik that makes good artist in the mainstream like,
Lupe Fiasco, look bad.
(highly intelligent negro right there.)

I've got some "rapp that'll make you piss on 50 and cam and prolly kill yourself for even thinking they're good musik.

(most of this crap I just said can be applied to most musik out there. )

Well actually that was the first time I heard it. It's not out in Australia yet.
Even though I wanted to compare it to the Weird Al vid as much as possible, I just could not listen to it all the way through.
Title: Damn dial-up
Post by: aboutasoandthis on September 20, 2006, 01:13:24 AM
After 2 and a half hours of downloading, I got to watch it.

It was cute. It did have me laughing. It's proof that a track can be good, but the rapper to it can go **** himself if his lyrics suck.

Yes I understand "Commercial" Rap. But I still like the song not by it's meaning, but by it's harmonic tone if you know what I mean? Sure Chamillionare isn't the best of rappers, but don't get me wrong, i've listened to some rap songs that make you think, so I think I am at least in the same boat with you.

Immortal Technique, Nas, Jay-Z, 2pac, and such.

lots of laughs, I was hoping someone would talk about this song/video.

Not gonna get into the I hate rap-real hiphop-commericial rap discussion that happens after the word rap, hip hop or any name that even looks close to being a hip hop artist's or rapper's is posted, or anything related to that.

I'll just say that I never attacked a favorite band thread.

Thats was hilarious.....seriously.
Wierd AL has been makin me chuckle for well over 15 years now.

And for the love of god.If there is ANYTHING harmonic about a RAP song, it then becomes R&B. And now some douche will probably try and tell me that the two are the same....at which point, I already have my rebuttal prepared.

I love your taste in music. I gave this guy a listen.

I think the problem with Underground, there isn't any real club music in the sense. You know what I mean? I like this kind of music, but I still need some kind of party music. I'm not gonna hate a kind of music, to hate that kind of music. I'll hate music for its quality.

I don't even know what I'm saying.

Well...I do like the Gym Class Heroes. I consider it more of a rap group than a band.  Might wanna look up MF Grimm too. And if you can find any, try searching for Wax Tailor. He's more so a producer, but he's badass.

Eh, a few of my favorite rap groups.

Back on track; I downloaded "Straight outta Lynnwood" (yes I'm an evil evil person) and there are some pretty good songs on there.

Remember Albuquerque? Well now there's an as awesome song, Trapped In The Drive Thru. Hilarious, I was laughing all the way through probably. There are some other good ones like Polkarama (what covers quite a few good songs), Canadian Idiot and Confessions 3, which makes that God awful song by Usher good!
