Title: battle sprites

hi, i have imported a few things into the game such as my main character and a few other characters.  i did this by exporting them, changing them on paint, renaming them then impoting them back into rpg maker.  but when i do this for a battle sprite i can find my imported image in the drop down menu.  is it something to do with written next to the name?  

any help would be appreciated

Have you gone into 'animation 2' in the database and made the battlechar up from your resource?
