Okay, I have a couple of questions.
1.How can I name a sprite that is suppose to be a pet?
2.Im using variables +1 and when it gets to 10, how do I change the NPC sprite?
3. Is it possible to pick up other sprites?
4.How can I make the pet have a hunger? And how can I make it random, like if the pet starts singing on any where in the area?
5. How do I make it where I give the pet an item by pressing just the shift key?

Okay.....heres what you do.
Either A) get RPG maker XP and find a virtual Pet script...
B) read a bunch of tutorials on things like variables, conditionalbranches, changing sprites, CMS's, and Key input processing/password functions. And then if you still need help, you will know how to word the questions more accuratly.
It sounds to me like you maky be asking for alot more than can easily be explained.
