Title: Anyone Know What Language They Use to Code GBA Games?
Post by: ZeroKirbyX on November 11, 2006, 12:56:13 AM
As topic says, is anyone sure of what they use? If you know what they use for DS as well that'd be nice.

Technically GBA uses ARM8 (Or ARM#, can't remember the number) assembly, but most developers code in C and then use a devkit to convert their code into proper assembly.

A good place to start your search is   (http://www.devrs.com/gba/)

Is DS the same thing or does it use a differant language due to the use of the touch screen?

I'm flattered that you trust me, but I found the info that I gave to you  via the second result in Google for 'gba coding' (http://www.google.com/search?hs=ubN&hl=en&lr=&safe=off&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&q=gba+coding&btnG=Search). Go to that site, and then go to links. Jackpot.

What MrMister said.
