People are crazy...

I highly doubt that. 500yen is only around $5.00CAN.

Why do people want the PS3 (and other consoles) EXACTLY at the launch. Not only will it get cheaper later on, the first batch always has some defects.

I'll wait a very long time if I ever do get it. Heck, I only just got a PS2 this summer.
