Here's something that I've been wanting to know; When will Link marry Zelda, it's totally obvious that he loves her, and she loves him! Do you think that they will ever get hitched and fight evil together?
-
Zelda never puts out. Ever. They won't ACTUALLY get together. She's probably like Peach, getting kinapped just to get a better bang than the hero gives.
-
Oh come on! I doubt that she even likes Gannondorf, Vaati, or any of the other badguys, she.. loves...Link, get it through your skull, besides, I meant that if they ever teamed up to face the enemy for an entire game. Plus, if they ever did have a child, he/she would be an expert in weaponry and magic, possibly even a demi-god type being. But, that's my own oppinion, your thoughts?
-
Well there is no Zelda in either Majoras Mask or Oracle of ages/seasons just other females that needs to be saved... '
And in most of the games, Zelda and Link are just kids, I really doubt that they would get married...
In ocarina of time, there are loads of girls who like Link, Saria, Malon, Rutee, Zelda and um... Some more people?
Well anyway, Link is already married with princess Rutee the zora, so if he ever feels like marrying Zelda he need to get a divorce first.
In Wind waker, well yeah they seem to have something... But I donno [SPOOILER]Zelda is a pirate[SPOILER] so I just donīt know about anything there.
And of course, Link canīt speak, he just make annoying noices...
-
Link isn't really married to the Zora princess, no not really, he just agreed to do it long enough so that he could stop gannondorf, because he wanted to help Zelda and his country, (but mostly Zelda) anyway, I still think that someone should make a game where they (Link and Zelda) finally get married, and have a child, a demi-god type child one that can handle weapons superbly, and magic to the same degree, (preferably a girl child) and then Gannondorf discovers her weak point, and kidnaps her when she's outside playing, considering her demi-godessness, she technically couldn't die, but she certainly could be killed! Gannondorf should try one more time to take over the world, this time, using the power of three gods, and a demi-god. This would mean that not even Link and Zelda combined would not be capable of taking him down together, unless the travel to a realm that seems isn't there and yet, it is, the realm of shadows. This realm is where shadows exist when the sun goes down. Link and Zelda would therefore have to find a way into this unknown realm, to locate to three things that might be capable of taking Gannondorf down for good, the three shadow peices of the Triforce, they are strategically placed within the realm of shadows, and they haven't ever been united since the Triforce was formed. Anyway, that's all of my thoughts on this subject for the time being. Plus, I sincerely appreciate the posts!
-
The creators have stated in interviews that at some point they might be involved romantically, but certainly not in anything even close to your fanfiction, considering it's not quite that good.
Why would their child be a demi-god? I mean, they might pass some of their skills on to it and teach it how to fight and cast magic, but there's no reason why their child would be quite that omnipotent.
-
Okay, let me kind of explain my reasoning behind the whole demi-god thing, first; Link is a Master Swordsman, second; Zelda is a master Spellcaster, third; they are technically the embodiment of the pieces that correlate with them, Link correlates with the piece of courage, Zelda correlates with the piece of wisdom, their child would be kind of like, an extra triforce piece.
Edit: Plus, their child wouldn't be omnipotent, he/she would just be very close to being a deity, kind of like Hercules.
-
Over 3000 years Link and Zelda never had a relationship. I doubt one would happen between Ocarina of Time and Adventure of Link anyway.
I had this idea where a princess Zelda (mind you, because of some law every Hyrule princess at a certain point is forced to be called Zelda) one day marries a descendant of the hero of the Master Sword, and they get two kids. One is a girl (Zelda), and one is a boy, which you can give a name to, but to make it simple, I call him Link. Link is one of the Hyrule knights, fighting for Hyrule. The world as we now know it, peaceful and such, doesn't exist anymore. Worlds are at war, and Link must fight for Hyrule, perhaps even the expansion of Hyrule. His team consists of different knights. One is a descendant of a Gerudo tribe, with the last name Dragmire. As you all know Ganon was killed off in one of the Zelda games, and the only way to bring him back is to resurrect him with the blood of the hero, or...
I also had this plot where Zelda falls in love with the Gerudo, and there was a woman named Malon who was also a Hyrule knight.
-
I've allways had this theory that they're brother and sister, which would make marriage incest.
I mean, if you look at them, they look freakishly similar, like, she's a female version of him. If you go with Ocarina of Time story you notice that Link has only a mother, who fled the Hyrule castle area to Kokiri forest, while Zelda only makes any mention to a Dad, and her mother figure is that man woman Impa.
Sure there isn't alot of merit to the theory, but you can't deny the possibility is there. And besides, even if they're not related, it still wouldn't work out. Zelda is a cross dresser. Some kind of weird freaky incestual transgered love affair.
-
Someone wants to see Link and Zelda get it on.

Same.
In A Link to The Past, right before your uncle dies at the start of the game, he says,
'Link . . . Zelda is your . . .'
And then he dies.
-
Oh god.. zelda is so lame.. << *hates the game*
-
Well, I love it! Anyway, about my idea for a game, it's a lot more complex than I put it, but I couldn't really put the whole plot down, so there you have it, it's just my take on the Legend of Zelda . Thanks for the posts!
-
I believe that the general consensus about that line "Link.. Zelda is your.." is that he is supposed to be saying something along the lines of... "Link, Zelda is your destiny." Which would maks sense as to how they keep winding up together in the many games that are related to one another.
-
"Link... Zelda is your booty call"
-
Why would they? OoT Link did the horizontal monster mash with Malon, Oracle of Ages Link got down with Nayru, Seasons with Din. Minish Cap Link did it with his hat. Wind Waker/Phantom Hourglass, Link is married to the sea. Majora's Mask, he had a gay affair with Skull Kid. Link's Awakening, threesome between the Wind Fish, Link, and Kaepora Gaebora. It was implied off-screen, fairly obvious.
Since there's different Links, they really don't have much of a chance to build relationships with Zelda. Also, Link is too promiscuous.
Edit: Oh, Twilight Princess, I haven't seen too far into it but it seems like he's more interested in horse girl. Or.. horse.
Edit2: It's not obvious that anyone loves anybody. Because Link doesn't SAY THINGS. If you play Zelda games WANTING there to be something there, you'll see it. But it's all your imagination.

Care to explain? Because, yes, there are different Links, but there are as much Zeldas minus one we know of (the same Zelda for the first Zelda was used for the second one, while having another Link, or it was the other way around).
-
This topic screams retarded.
-
Then again, it's not you who gets to decide, now is it?
-
I say: The games don't follow a timeline, each game is a diferent history (apart of those games that were actually made as a sequel) so it's like reading a book, then reading another book with another character with the same name, and them complaining because the characters in the first book get along and the COMPLETALY DIFERENT characters in the second book doesn't.
-
They're video games, they don't need to make sense.
-
I concur with the above post. This is as stupid as trying to make a topic that links all the final fantasies together.
I kinda laugh at people that make huge elaborate plots for games like ES4 Oblivion and ect, so please, carry on with your rantings. It's funny how these guys (as in, players, not the people that made the game themselves) spend so much time writing a story up that sounds like it would work to link every question put in the game together.
-
Actually, when you look at it, you CAN link every Zelda to each other, in some way.
At least Zelda 1 and Zelda 2 go along with each other. Then we have Ocarina of Time -> Majora's Mask -> Twilight Princess (confirmed) -> the Wind Waker.

Actually, Bethesda does it too. And then puts them into books inside the games. And creates references and huge histories for their world. And basically constructs an entire world for their games.
The continent of Akavir where the Snake-men rule, the plane of Oblivion where the Daedric god Mehrunes Dagon resides, the Blades, guardians of the emperor and the soldiers of Cloud Ruler Temple in the northern mountains of Cyrodil, just south of the border between Cyrodil and Skyrim, land of the Nords. Right down to stories such as the Real Berenziah, a series of books telling the true story of a queen involved in the deception of Jagar Tharn and his stealing of the throne.
It's pretty deep.
-
Yeah, each Elder Scrolls game is within the same lifetime. They all reference to King Uriel Septum, and all during his time as King.

Ahh, Kaepora Gaebora: Great character or GREATEST character?
Anyway, while you could say Link does get it orn with on of the Zeldas, almost all of them are different Links and Zeldas, so the probability that they all get hitched and live happily ever after is quite unlikely.
Also, Oblivion and indepth storylines FTW.

Yeah, I've read some of it. It does go pretty deep into detail.
I'm talking about the people that have read that, try to find the slightest loop-hole/missing story or place where something might've happened/been done differently, and write a whole 3 page thesis about it. Those are the things I laugh at, because in the end, most of them end up writing the same thing the game's makers did, only in more words and flashier context.
-
Hmm.... I've talked to a lot of Zelda fans that have played every single game that exists so far, and they think that my idea has merit, plus they like the idea of a second pair of not quite tangible Triforce peices, pieces that would almost be inobtainable by Gannondorf.

Most Zelda fans think everything has merit if they had enough time to play ALL the Zelda games. I mean, most are good, but some just suck ***, especially some of the ones for the gameboy.

Gary, good buddy. Link in Twilight Princess isn't the same as OoT/MM Link, he's a grandson/great grandson or some other descendant.
Firstly, because he was born in Ordon Village, not Kakariko; and secondly, the game is set 100 years after OoT.
And since in the 2 hours of the beginning of the game suggests that he does NOT have Zelda for a mother/grandmother/great grandmother, or any relative for that matter, suggests that OoT Link and Zelda did NOT get together.
Besides, the cartoon revealed that despite Link's best efforts, he never boned Zelda.

Various females put out at Link, yet he does nothing.
Therefore Link is gay. ALL the Links are gay.
Sorry to break it to the fanboys.

Or, who knows, maybe Link is an underdeveloped girl or something.

Good God you HAVE to be trolling.

Trolling?
-
Trolling is purposefully making people want to flame you. It's looked at much the same way as flaming, as it doesn't help anyone.
aka "instigating"
It's origins lie with the definition of trolling as "To fish for by trailing a baited line from behind a slowly moving boat."
-
Oh, I see, but I really had no idea what it meant.

Well Link does run around with clothes that do remind you of a dress... And he wears stockings when he is adult, and another dress...
Only game he doesnīt wear a dress... Well in Windwaker he got pants at least, real pants.

I never said that the Link in Twilight Princess is the same as in Ocarina of Time. It was stated that TP took place between MM and tWW.
PWNED TO DA MAX YO!
Also, I think it's too early to say whether or not the TP Link is a descendant.
