Title: AMD X2 or Intel Duo

Well my motherboard got fried, and now I need to buy a new one. Instead of just buying a replacement, I figured I might as well upgrade the motherboard and CPU. So I wanted to get a duel core CPU, and well I haven't decided if I should get an AMD X2 4000 or 4200+ or if I should get an intel duo processor.

Personally, I like AMD processors better (plus I bought some stock in them :) [fake stock for an economics class :(]). Anyway, if I'm not mistaken, the intel duo processors are newer, and thus I'm guessing they're a little more advanced.

Anyone got any suggestions on what I should get?

I have a dual core processor that works really well. I never had an AMD, so I cant comment on those.

The intel duo processors sounds like it's better
I should upgrade eventually got the amd 3200
