Title: Font messed up
Post by: SilverBlade on December 02, 2006, 08:00:56 AM
Hi, I just started a new project 'Ying Yang: Thread of Memories'. When I testplayed, my font has changed!
I tried my previous games and they all got the same new font! How do I make it normal again?

Thx for helping me

(PS: see attachment below)

Did you get a new patch for font? Because, that might be what's going on here.

No, you see, that's the problem: I don't know where it came from!

I had the same problem when I installed the rpgmaker on the C drive once, but then I reinstalled it on D and the font was the way it should be again.

Try getting an entirely new patch. That'd work, wouldn't it?

It's just as well that you didn't post where to get the patch, because I'm pretty sure it's against the rules to link to RPG Maker downloads.

I found a way to do it without patch, thx anyway.

(If someone has the same problem: Go to your font of RPG2003, copy msgothi0, msmincho, RM2000 and RMG2000 to C:/WINDOWS/Fonts. That should do the trick. This also works for the people who don't have that problem, but who are tired of the lack of space between two characters!)

I searched on google and both are possible.

I searched on google for the truth, and teh troof. Both are widely accepted and possible, but one is gramatically incorrect! :o

Back on topic, I remember there being a user made addon created to adress this issue. I think you can find it on gamingw.net.
