Title: JILL VALENTINE HELP!
Post by: Yeaster on January 08, 2007, 01:06:01 AM
Does a character sprite (RPGM2k/3) of Jill Valentine in her "RE: 3" costume exist anywhere? Here, I'll refresh your memory.

I doubt it, but if it can found anywhere, it will really make my day. I'd make it myself, but I lack the talent.

However, if you're feeling REALLY generous and decide to make one yourself, I will love you forever and ever and you will MOST DEFINITELY get credit for it.

In any case, thanks a million!  :)

Thanks, I really appreciate that. :)

However....I think a character set would be more important for right now. I don't think I can find it there, unless I missed something.

Why? Thats all I have to ask. O_o

Edit: Normally 3D action characters suck when converted to 2D sprites. Thats why few ever do it.

Why do I need a Jill sprite? Well, to be frank, she's in a game I'm making.

What are you asking for? The sprite body or face because I don't know where you can get it. but maybe I can make you Jill's face but it well have a black lines in it.

I was asking for a character set for my RPGM2k3 game. I didn't expect to find any, but since there are like....a million Final Fantasy character sets, I figured maybe someone might've made one for Resident Evil characters too. :p

Is it in resources? I checked there earlier (via search :p) and I didn't find any of Jill. Though, I could've easily missed it. Those are a lot of resources. lol

the search engine sucks, I thinks so anyhow, you'd have to manually search yourself....

But why use sombody else's character? Anyways, usually translating a FPS or any other 3D action character to a charset will end up them looking generic and almost unrecognisable anyways. So don't say anything about looks if sombody does do it.

Holy hell. I wish I knew what all of that meant, but computers and I....we don't click. RPG Maker doesn't count. That's easy. But all that other stuf..... Wow.  :p

Anyway, why use someone else's character? Good point, but I'm actually changing her name/background anyway. So she's like a new character, but I'm just...."borrowing" her looks(omg i'm stoopid). It's for a silly sequel to an already silly game. I would definitely not do something like that for a serious project. ;)

Ah yes it is! Have you not tried it? Theres so much pleasure in manually searching for resources!!!

Eh did a search on a couple of sites and had no results, I'd do it for you but I'm no good doing char sets as it is...so ummm yea...

Haha, thanks. I suck at that too(obviously).

I appreciate the thought, though.
