Couldn't you have somthing else on mind rather than Final Fantasy 7? I know for a fact you are not going to finish this game. Rarely anybody does. And pretty much everybody makes some fangame. (I at one time thought of making a Final Fantasy Fighter game. :x Stupid idea. And Megaman RPG... gosh that sucked.) To be original tends to be more rewarding.
