He's right. The people that got their topics deleted should be the original people to start them again. It just doesn't feel right...

You only stated it's temporary if the gaming forum is hopefully restored. Odds are, it won't be restored. Posts were outright deleted, not sent to a junk bin. A dur.
Hence, when the fact sets in that forum gaming won't be gotten back via finding old threads and un-deleting them, you will delete this and let FFL have his glory, because he deserves it over you.
Also, if for some reason your account gets deleted, and for some reason people like you, and for some other reason you want to come back, to bad. I'm going to make an Apex account, because there's no point in sitting around Apexless. That is, should someone care.

Do me a favor Meiscool, go up to where it says file, (Assuming you are using Firefox.) and notice where it says "Save page." That in conjunction with a restore database option works wonders you know? Or I guess you wouldn't know, seeing as you haven't been here nearly as long, and haven't experienced the Popcapades, where the function was last used. (To my knowledge.) I guess either you can't read, or you are just to stupid to understand, because it was posted in the thread in the All of All topic about this. You must not be able to read, as it also said Temporary, for the chance that they are able to restore the database, but that is out of your comprehending.
I think FFL would like his balls back, you may want to wipe all the slobber and spit off them before you return them though, people tend to take that offensively, especially people who would rather chop of their own testicles then be defended by you in the first place.
Oh, and next phrase/word: Suck-up.

Yes, Alex can roll back the forums if he wants to. But to what point? And will he even agree to do so?
Charas lost two months of posts the last time that happened, and Alex may or may not have been saving backups a bit more frequently since then.
But keep in mind Alex is much less active here now than he was back then. The thought of saving a backup just in case a rare occurence like this might happen again soon LIKELY didn't cross his mind, or if it did, he may have decided it wasn't important.
So yes, chances are, the deleted threads are gone for good. Unless perhaps Alex actually DID decide to save a backup despite his inactivity, or if he started something to do it automatically every so often at one point. I doubt it.
And I still think you shouldn't have made this thread, temporary or not.
