Title: cant change my font

the font on my game looks realy crppy and i dont know how to change it.

Try this: Open up your rpg maker 2000 / 2003 folder. There'll be a folder there for fonts, and there'll be 4 files or something in there. Copy them, then open up your windows folder, go into your fonts folder, and paste the files.

If  that doesn't work, let me know and we can try something else.

That works, but it also has a wierd effect on the font too. It messed mine up, but I've heard it worked for others  :|

There is another way of fixing the font, and it's called a "Font Fix" patch. It's made specially for RPGM. Just search "Crankeye rpg maker" on google and look under downloads. There you should find a untility called the Font Fix. Download that, and it should work.

Also, I've heard of cases where the font fix messed up the person's game, so you may want to save your game to another part of the computer, just for safety :p

what about rpgmker xp i aint rely got a prob wid da font but id like to change it
(btw,meiscool ur signature about da drugs isnt funny or cool :dry: )

Changing the font in rmxp is easier. You open up the scripts section in rmxp. In one of the scripts, it has which font to use, you just change the font used. You can use any font on your computer. However, if you choose a font that did not come on your computer, it is a good chance that a lot of other people won't be able to see the font when they play the game, in which case you would have to include the font with your game when you share it. Anyway, I'm at school right now, and I don't know what script handles the font off hand, but I can check that for you later.

Ok, to change the font in rmxp, go to the script editor, open up the script main (the last one by defult), near the top, there'll be a line with this: $fontface = "Arial" Just change the Arial to the font you want.
