I am hoping to be able to convert my RPGs made in rpg maker 2003/rpg maker xp to .gba or .nes games, so I can burn them onto a gba cart and play them on a gba. Does anyone know of a way I can do this? I have found links to the burning equipment, but I just need to find a converter. Thanks in advance! :)

Short answer: It can't be done.

Longer answer: There is currently no way to convert it to a gameboy game. The only two options are to either make it using one of the gameboy RPG Makers or make it yourself using the various GBA devkits.

I have a gba rom version of "RPG Tsukuru Advance" or RPG Maker Advance. The only problem is that it is completely in japanese. I need a text dumper and jap to english language converter so I can get it in English. If you want to convert your RPG Maker game to this format, then it is impossible. But, you can start over in this format if you help me translate the rom. PM me if you wish to help.

In reality, it is more rewarding and roughly equal difficulty to learn how to make games on the GBA/DS than to spend the time translating RPG Maker Advance enough that you understand it all and can type English into it - then you not only can spend more time making the game, you can make it more custom. Mainly due to the low quality of Japanese translators and the high difficulty of learning the language yourself.

Thanks anyway, I didn't really expect it to be possible.
Anyone know of a GBA game creation resource instead? I mean on the pc, so I can make .gba roms.

GBADev.org is the best place I've seen. (http://www.gbadev.org/)

Thanks for the link Osmose, I'll try it out.
