Title: Wii's Virtual Console.

Personally I would like to see Majora's Mask, Paper Mario and Starfox 64.

Anything else that I want, I already have a hard copy that I can play on my Wii or DS. Yes, that includes the Zeldas.

Think for a minute...Nintendo is a company that hates all of the emulators and roms that are cycling around the internet, yet they turn around and contribute to the problem by uploading roms that are already out there. The Wii Virtual Console is just a large universial emulator.

I would gladly pay for games, as long as I could use them - and that's a mindset shared by many other people. Of course, there's always the lazy pirates who can't be bothered to spend a bit of cash to get an awesome game, but I would much rather support the game developers rather than steal from them.

F'real. I only get ROMs for games that I can't find anywhere anymore, for systems that I can't find anywhere anymore, or for games that I already have, but have an uncooperative system for playing them on. Bit now that there's a Virtual Console, I'm gonna have to baleet half of my ROMs and buy them for my Wii. :happy:

WRONG.

Each rom goes through an encryption process that is made during the download of said rom to said Wii, making that Rom only accessible and playable to that specific Wii. Normal Roms will not work, and transferring games will not work either.

There is at least two layers of encryption at work here, a universal encryption, that prevents tampering to the rom, and an encryption that locks the rom to your Wii.

And, through fiddling around through the the actual site where Wii shop connects too, and client swapping my firefox thanks to a plugin, there is a heavy lock that the site accesses the wii to make sure that it is clearly a Wii.

Only with the help of a Modchip, (Which are out, I'm waiting till one that is plug and play.) you could run emulators and roms, or use the internal ones.

Logic = Win, why would nintendo release something THAT easy to pirate on?

Untrue (At least as far as the "heavy" part). The site simply references certain Javascript files that are stored locally on the Wii that AREN'T stored locally on your home computer.

Action replay =/= emulation based on a rom alone.
