So could you somehow put a online sprite maker (with a grid, to make things easier (just like that RPG maker I used a long time ago, but can't remember that it's called))? That would be great for adding some stuff quicker (for n00bs like me (I can't make a sprite for anything without a gridded(?) sprite maker)).

We don't have the access, resources, or reason to do something like that. If you really need a grid, Fireworks allows you to work with a grid, which you can configure to be 1 px by 1 px.

Or press 'ctrl-G' in MSPaint, if you have some class.

I'd prefer to use Paint.NET (http://www.getpaint.net/index2.html) as free alternative.
