Before reading this topic, PLEASE keep an open mind. Please be willing to accept any game for what it is, no matter how weird/stupid/silly it may appear. The whole point of this program IS to have fun, remember? We're not doing this for money, so we might as well have fun while we waste hours of our lives away.
So...that's it. Please leave honest comments. Honesty is the key to life, it makes us all happy people. HOWEVER, please don't bash me. Not everyone can be talented game makers like yourselves, so just take this game for what it is and not what it "should" be. Constructive criticisms are welcomed and encouraged, but not flames. NOW, TO THE GAME.....
STORYLINE: You are RONALD JOHNSON, a seventeen year old kid who lives in Montane City. Your birthday is approaching next week, and honestly, you couldn't care less. High School is pretty much over, and everyone else have these great lives planned out for them....except for you. With no goals or ambitions in life, you just drift along. You live each day waiting, waiting for that time when your life becomes meaningful.
That evening, a sound is heard, drawing you and your best friend, JOSE FERNANDEZ, back into the Abandoned Warehouse you previously explored earlier. There, you meet a warrior from the Celestial Heavens, SQUAMUS MAXILLIUS, who came to Earth to find the reincarnation of Prince DEVON MARS, who, one thousand years ago, on his eighteenth birthday, sacrificed himself in order to track down a dangerous enemy who escaped one thousand years into the future......Earth.
Obviously, you are completely reluctant to follow this....talking dog ....to go on some quest that, quite frankly, you don't really care too much about to begin with. Unfortunately, you are not given a choice when SOCIETY, a secret group of criminals, begin to put their ultimate plan into motion. Chaos begins to emerge, and lives are forever changed as the world slowly begins to slip into a chaotic state. It is now up to Ron, Jose, Squamus, and many, many others to find Society and stop them before the world is thrown into total, absolute chaos.

~The facesets are deliberately "mixed". This game is MEANT TO BE "WEIRD". It's just a silly game I made for fun. It's a bit lengthy, but nothing too serious (though, it has moments). So, come in this game with the LOWEST EXPECTATIONS EVER......and I PROMISE, you will be surprised.
~I knew these aren't the most beautiful maps, but I used what I had, and made it work (or I tried, at least). *wink*
~Third.....this game was made FOR FUN. It isn't meant to be "serious" or ground-breakingly awesome. It's just a silly game that you can play without wanting to pull your hair out. It isn't anywhere close to being as dark nor as difficult as O N Y X, however, hopefully the dialouge is better, since I desperately tried to avoid some of the things that prevented Onyx from being as good as it could have been.
...And that's it! Please download. I'll love you forever if you do. And, of course, comments are ENCOURAGED!!! But, DON'T flame me. I wrote it nice and big LETTERS, so if you do flame me (without providing contructive criticism or advice) and I will think you're an idiot, and I will not address you (at all) or take you seriously.

Yeah, I just made this one for fun. Pure fun. Just fun. Only fun. It's difficult at parts (rare) but it's just a fun and easy game, or at least that is what I was going for.
If you look pass the "mixed" facesets (which I did on purpose), hopefully, you'll see that the game isn't "bad." I tried to do something that was different from the "norm". It was a risk and I went with it.
Please give this game a far shot before judging it. It will surprise you. It actually has a story (which isn't random/stupid/doesn't make a drop of damn sense) and characters that develop. I promise.
Besides, I've seen this done a crapload of times before, so I am not the first to "use" mixed facesets, nor will I be the last.

Graphically, this game is far from beautiful, but I don't consider myself a computer expert, so I used the little knowledge that I had and (hopefully) made it work. Besides, I think the only thing "wrong" with it are the facesets, which I did deliberately . I'll put it this way. If you play the game, you won't gasp in awe at the graphics, but they won't make you throw up either (or take your eyes out, either). They're pretty much ordinary. I would have done more if I could.....but....I'm still learning.
Besides, it's the story and the characters that count. ;)

I see you guys have taken a liking to the pretty boy... I honestly have no idea who he is. I just did a google search for a random male model.
As for the redhead and the bright-haired girl.... Well, the redhead is Alexz Johnson , and she was in Final Destination 3 last year. Rent it!
And the bright head, that is Nemissa. She stars in a Japan-only Playstation game called Soul Hackers, which is apart of the Shin Megami Tensei universe. At the end of the game, the "cast" is revealed. :p
As for those who have played the game.....what do you think of it, so far? Like it? Hate it? How are the characters?

It was a solid game. Dialogue spelling was perfect, and made the story easy to follow and quite amusing.
My problem with the game, though, is that the bosses are too darned hard, and you have no idea when they're going to come. As a result, by the time I got to the third boss, I had not saved since right before the 2nd one. As a result, my butt was kicked by the boss, and I was sent way back in the game. That's an advantage to save points; they tell you what you're going to need in the next few seconds.
Aside from that, solid game.
And by the way, would you happen to have a horizontal version of the beam panorama on you? I really need a panorama like that for my game.

If it still doesn't work....I dunno. I guess some RTP files are missing or something. I thought I had every thing in there.

Ooooh, yeah, I see what you mean. Next time, I will do that (let the player know when a boss is coming up, like....I dunno, a flash or something. A thumb).
As for the beam thing....I am not sure, but you can check the game's folder.

Uhm, If there is a file missing, I just stop playing.
I'll Try the New Links but If somethings not working, I'm just going to stop. It's super annoying for a game not to find a file, then you have to find it, then it happens 10 seconds later.
