OK doodz, my birth day comes up in six days and I mainly just want a few DS games. I already have
Super mario
mario and luigi
castlevania: DoS
lunar: DS
nintendogs
and children of mana,
and on my list I have
cooking mama
phoenix wright
castlevania: PoR
trauma centre
fullmetal alchemist: DS
lost in blue
and lunar knights
I wanna know what I should add to my list if I missed any good games, and what I should take out of my list because it sucks, but things I'm gonna keep on my list no matter what are phoenix wright, fullmetal and castle vania. anyone know of any other good games?

Substantial lack of Mario Kart DS detected.
-
Yep, get Mario Kart.

That game is litterally impossible to find.
They stopped producing it after like 3 months of it's release, man.
Anyways.. Mario Kart is too slow for me. I need a better racer :/
Lost in Blue sucks. HARD.
Cooking Mama is fun for a bit, but loses it's fun levels quickly.
Read some reviews of all the games you want, man.

MegaMan ZX. It's a good platformer.
-
actually, I have mario kart and Final fantasy, I forgot to say, and trauma center, eh, I can live without, but I saw a review for it and it looked really good, and ofcourse, if not trauma center: under the knife, there's always trauma center: second opinion.

Because I could. I don't know myself, really. I've had bad experiences with forums before.[/B]
Cant imagine why.

Omigod you should get these
Phoenix Wright (omigod, shortage)
Castlevania: PoR
Mario Kart DS
Final Fantasy III
Metroid Prime: Hunters
Yoshi's Island DS
Kirby: Squeak Squad
Trauma Center (if you can find it!)
Tony Hawk's American Sk8land (if you dig this series and can find a copy)
Super Mario 64 DS (even if you have the original, you can't go wrong with this awesome fest)
Star Fox Command
Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime (kinda hard to find)
Mechassault: Phantom Wars (totally awesome, but a bit on the rarer side these days)
Brain Age
Puzzle Quest (I hear it rocks)
Lunar Knights
Tetris DS (if you find and then receive a copy of this, can you send it to me?)
Custom Robo Arena (because I'm gonna need someone to rape online once I buy this)
Super Princess Peach (easy as hell, but just as fun)
Horsez (no, I'm kidding)
And when it comes out: Touch the Dead (because you know you want to!)
-
And eventually DS modding will become more possible with recent tools that will eventually be able to extract, view, two-way convert, and even reinsert data which could be fun for some games that were fun yet too short.
In any case, I like the Castlevania games.

Wait you mean rom hacking
we've had that since the 90s

The Dreamcast game Cool Herders is coming to DS!
Yay!
-
I have seen plenty of trauma center games for DS in the stores near where I live.
Oh, and Hotel Dusk is good.
-
Get a DS flashcard and you can have nes, snes, and other great rom's. That is...if you are willing to risk a little.
-
risk what?

There's plenty of cards that don't require you to flash your DS.
Flashing your DS isn't even that dangerous.
All you have to do is follow a guide. You take the battery cover off of your DS, and jam a piece of metal into somewhere. It'll short out a circuit, which will allow you to use the shittier flashcards.
There is a risk of jamming it in the wrong spot and fuckin your DS, but you can find a guide on where to jam.
Also, the top tier cards, like I said, do NOT REQUIRE YOU TO DO THIS

I giggled when I read that. that sounds like something my brother would say. also, if you die, aren't you technically always dead forever.
-
When I said risk, I meant the flashing of commercial roms and getting caught.

Au contraire! Let us not forget the monstrous mistake of one Victor Frankenstein? 'Twould be quite the tragedy! Death is intended to last forever, yet who's to say it shall remain in its natural order? "Not I", says the sheep!

i'm sorry what
since when is this risky

good news, money's alittle tight here (we're managing though) but my sister is going to pay for one of the games so hurray to the slimly increased chance that my wish list will be fullfilled. she said she's keeping an eye out for trauma center so, hurray for that too! :D

It's a bit different with NDS as it has a filesystem within instead. NDS games tend to have filetypes and etc. There is a tool that browses the folders and files within a NDS game. It is rather interesting and has currently nothing to do with hacking, if anything it could become more like modding a PC game than romhacking.

I see a lack of the Phoenix Wright sequel in the list. Lunar knights is indeed a fun game, even if the voiceovers are a bit bad and the story is anticlimactic at the end.
-
Well, if you don't already have it, I'd recommend getting FF4 for the GBA. It's not exactly DS but it's still good. Also, i've heard a rumor that FF5 is coming out on the DS.. Buy that too.

I would have said that, but I've yet to play it.
And FF5's already out, as is 6.
I'm waiting for the expectable & on DS.

Wow, I'm way behind! 0_o Well then, I guess I have no excuse left to not go to a game shop...
-
six is already quite a few games so maybe I'll ask for the sequel some other time, if I like the first ofcourse.
